Aaack :( This is the second time in ... oh ... maybe 2 years that I was clicking too fast ... and clicked on the "clear fields" button instead of the "submit" button :(
Has this ever happened to anyone else? Is there anyway to recover the info ??? There was no "undo" function that I saw ... Does anyone really use the "clear fields" button ??? Ok ... I admit it was a stupid mistake on my part ... and now that I have done it I will be more careful ... which should take care of the problem ... until about a year from now when I accidentally do it again .... So I thought I would post this "suggestion" here ... just for your consideration. :) |
I think, as you say, getting rid of the "clear fields" button would be the only way to go (if such customisation is possible).
I <i>sometimes</i> lose stuff but if I am composing a lengthy post I usually do it in Notepad so at least there is a back-up. |

I learned that one the hard way. This won't happen if the Clear Fields button goes away. [Edited by stevevt on 05-07-01 at 09:38 AM] |
I also know the feeling of frustration you get when you accidentally hit the clear fields button. Get rid of that function, it's easy enough to delete something without it. :)
