I hope everyone enjoyed your challenge! This was a rough month for some of you. I wish you well with the healing and recovering processes.
I don't know if I'll repeat as host next year; it wasn't planned for me to do it this year. But for the sake of whoever hosts next year, does anyone have any feedback? Because it was so last minute, we didn't have time to set parameters or objectives. Any thoughts on what you might like those to be next year?

Thank you for running this Travis. When I was feeling like watching things, I did have fun.

Thanks for stepping in Travis. I petered off at the end there but did get to re-watch some favorites.
My only suggestion is that we try to find a host a wee bit sooner next time.

I enjoyed the challenge. Didn't watch as much DS9 as I'd hoped, but picked off several eligible Oscar double-dips. Also saw some potboilers (Brazen on Netflix, Deep Water on Hulu) and the first season of Boba Fett. I think I said earlier that I believe this particular challenge has been lucky enough to have several hosts, so that may make it harder to pin down someone early.

It was an enjoyable month. I got in several movies, seasons of Mission Impossible TV series, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, and Game of Thrones. My only "regret" is my grandson wasn't very consistent in his appearances to watch GOT. In spite of that it's been quite fun watching with him and getting someone's reactions for a first viewing - and his are spoiler free to boot! I still need to finalize my list but it'll happen at some point.

Busy month with family stuff, just got home from my brother-in-law’s funeral, so didn’t watch much. Basically just did my checklist. Highlights include finally watching my Jaws 4K, finishing Hawkeye on Disney+, Uncut Gems, and finally opening my Dirty Harry BD boxset from Borders.

Thanks guys, and sorry to bring the thread down. As I was thinking out a monthly summary to write, I realized that I hadn’t shared that news, and I usually share everything on dvdtalk somewhere. As way too young deaths go, he was in his 50s, it was ‘ok’ in that he’s had Parkinson’s for years and we’ve known for almost a year that he was on his way out. A horrible disease, but I guess at least we had some time to come to terms with it.
Thanks for stepping up and running the Challenge Travis. And thanks to all the participants with their good sounding shows that are already in or being added to my everlasting queues.

A friend of many, many, years ago had Parkinson's (he was 30ish at the time). It's a horrible disease, as you know first hand.
