Here is a larger picture of the first beer of the season. Not sure if these little 200 pixel shots are really doing proper justice here:

There does appear to be more saturation on the imgur link.

Tonight, I discovered another R. Lee Ermey horror movie that I wasn’t aware of. The remake of Willard was on Movieplex tonight. I enjoyed it and would some time like to see both the original version and Ben.

Well, Friday night I didn't heed Undeadcow's warning and watched The Snarling. It may be the UK humor, but I didn't find this one to be very funny. This one had more dialogue and jokes about werewolves, than the physical manifestations. I was glad when it was over and regretted not having a stiff drink beforehand! The whole night wasn't a waste because I ended up watching The Beast Must Die (1974) and really enjoyed it. There were a few scenes where you could see the big dog wearing some kind of wolf pelt for authenticity. I came for Cushing but Calvin Lockhart really stole the show!

Just ordered Scars of Dracula and The Fly ( just the original blu ) today. The Fly scared the crap out of me when I saw this years ago when I was a kid.
I haven't seen it since then. So I'm a bit apprehensive about seeing it again. Yikes! Here's to 2 more for my collection!
( Although it will really be 1 more, I already have Scars on DVD- an upgrade is in the works. )

Haven't even opened it. I'm contemplating whether or not to sell it, but either way I know the Synapse transfer will blow it out of the water.
That's a nice looking set and worth owning as a collector, but the Synapse UHD will definitely be a big improvement in picture quality. I still haven't watched the remake but plan to for the challenge.

It’s horrible.
But you can still link to your list and it would take you directly to that list... but every other post would be under it.

True, but it loads the entire page. Lots of wasted time and bandwidth, especially on formatting/graphic intensive threads like Challenges.

I watched Werewolves on Wheels Friday night. It was... Interesting... It was also a bit of a disappointment as I don't recall seeing a single werewolf riding a motorcycle - at least not as a werewolf.

I also watched the original Universal The Wolf Man, Frankenstein meets the Wolf Man, House of Frankenstein, and House of Dracula. Those really got me excited about the challenge and I almost put in more of the Universal Classic Horror movies but stopped. For a change I don't think I have enough unopened product to hit 100 titles so will use those as filler if needed.

O'Fallon Brewery is based out of the St. Louis area so its still local enough for me that we get it in liquor stores this time of year. I'm getting paid tomorrow so I'm buying my beer for October.

I love pumpkin ale. Flying Dog's The Fear is probably my favorite.

Those flavors sound amazing. Unfortunately, there are no distributors in NY that carry it

If you have Prime, 13 Nights of Elvira is available.

Well, I finally made it through Season 4 (Freak Show) of American Horror Story... I now regret my life choices, with my biggest one naively thinking that when I started Season 1, I would enjoy this show due to my love of horror. I was wrong. I should be kinder to myself.

I haven't watched since season 1. And only took interest again today actually as I read the new season is based in the 80's and seems like a slasher/camp counsellor story.
I do enjoy the old school Jason Voorhees formula.
Definitely have to check it.
And the Creepshow series too.
