Sounds good to me. Thanks for coordinating everything, Chad.

Inquiring (and OCD) minds wonder if we will get the final checklist tomorrow? :-) It will be Sept 23 and that's when the checklist was final last year. This is only my first year following the planning process, so I don't know how typical that is.

I'm playing catch-up over the weekend after experiencing a few setbacks. But I do plan on having the checklist and theme/subset table up before Monday hits.

This is another one that would make a good theme suggestion.

Maybe for next year.. but a text message or message box popping on screen for a checklist item.

Its a fairly common occurance in tv a d film it appears. Especially in horror.

Is the tropes category satisfactory? Or should we go with less common ones?

Select 3 from the following horror film tropes:
--- Jump Scare -
--- No Cell Coverage -
--- The Abandoned Place -
--- The Vengeful Spirit -
--- Death By Sex -
--- The Final Girl -
--- Flickering Lights -

I support those tropes. Support the tropes.

Although I'm honestly unclear on 'death by sex' - is that specifically murder while intimate or anything sex related in general?

Sounds good.
Does flickering lights include lights going out / being cut?
Also wondering about the death by sex definition. Incubus/succubus as well as being killed during sex? (never thought I'd write that sentence)

Specifically killed during sex. Think Friday the 13th Part 2. Or Bay of Blood.

Yes, and as long as it's during the act.
