I might as well share this here because I can't imagine another audience who will appreciate (maybe the wrong word) this. I just ordered ... The Carrier.

Yes, I should have the DVD in time for the challenge. I showed it to a few friends a couple of challenges back, and one of them grew obsessed with that film. He was crushed when it was removed from YouTube. He's going to freak out when I get it.

There seems to be some left if anyone else in interested.

Code Red still has The Carrier DVDs? Amazing, everyone should see it at least once.

That's tempting. I'd like to revisit it in better quality than what I viewed for the subset.

That's two votes already. I'll combine them if it makes the cut and gets enough feedback.

I got it a few months back from the cartel when it reappeared. There has been some speculation that this may show on blu, but I think Bill mentioned something about only tape being available for this one. I do love this movie and gladly paid $25 for a DVD....

I think he really dug deep on the storage container for this one.

I got turned on to this one during on of the October DVDTalk challenges.

According to the product page, he found some in a box that was returned from Best Buy.

I'm happy he found some additional copies. The movie is too bizarre for me not to have it in my collection and to have friends who still haven't seen it.

I'm tempted, and found a few other titles I wanted, but no coupons and $20 shipping!

No, it's $5 for the first item and then $2 for each additional item. Outrageous, but he has a lot of exclusives and near exclusives.

So, get your votes in soon if you haven't already because we're getting close to making the transition to subset picking.

We still have 7 volunteer spots open.

Yeah, doesn't look like it'll happen before. Oh well.

Once that other thread goes up (soon), those that don't frequent the forum year-round start showing up and fill the remaining spots. That's usually the way it goes.

Re: Pre-Horror Challenge 13: Building of the Optional Lists (Themes, Subset, & Checkl

Passing the day very slowly, so I thought I would bump the thread. Noticed over at the Code Red Cartel, Bill has slashed some of his over-priced titles. Shipping kind of kills the deal, but The Great Alligator is priced at 19.99. I couldn't resist.
