Missed a night (Sat.) when my wife & I went to see Spyro Gyra, David Benoit (pronounced Ben-wa) and 3 other local jazz bands, didn't get back till 11:30pm, too tired to do anything but sleep.
Last night we watched Looker, follwed by an episode of The X-Files (S8): Medusa. -kd5- |

Re: Last DVD you watched?
Vertigo - Finally decided to start watching my Hitchcock box set. Very good film with some great performances and a wonderful score, but it didn't quite grab me the way North by Northwest did when I watched that.
Q: The Winged Serpent - Ah, Larry Cohen. Even though most of his films are incredibly low-budget and have a definite element of cheese to them, they're always immensely enjoyable to watch. The creature looked cool, I just wish we'd seen more of it. But watching Shaft get eaten by a large bird-god was awesome. |
