The Good : Excellent Argentinian crime thriller.
The Bad : Not much in the extras department.
The Ugly : Non-Anamorphic 2.35:1.

Watched The Warriors from the Widescreen Collection, which was infinitely preferable to that poor excuse for an Ultimate Director's Cut with all the comic book crap injected into it. I have no idea what drugs Walter Hill was on when he made the UDC, he turned a well-crafted and serious movie into a joke and I'm glad I was able to get a copy of the original movie.

Followed that with an episode of Battlestar Galactica (S1): Bastille Day. -kd5-

The Mosquito Coast - Another one of my favorite Peter Weir films and a great performance by Harrison Ford.

Beverly Hills Cop -- 1 & 2 - Exc (8/10), 3 - Good. (7/10) Never seen them before.
Despicable Me -- OK, really bored until the end when it picked up. 6/10
The Pacific Parts 1-7 -- For some reason I get bored with this. It's good, but I really can't get into it. 3 more eps. to go.

I haven't seen this in a while. On my must-buy list.

Is is really that different? I got the HD DVD a while back, but haven't watched it. I remember really liking it when I was a kid, but am disappointed if the UDC is really that bad.

The Moody Blues - Live at the Royal Albert Hall - Excellent PQ, sound, and song selection with full orchestra behind them. Another great concert DVD if you are a fan of this band-

I agree I own older The Warriors DVD before Director's Cut release. lucky me I did rent Director's Cut and totally terrible animation comic book.
