2 really interesting films from director Peter Weir!
If you like Peter Weir, you should see his movie Gallipoli (with Mel Gibson). Excellent movie! -kd5-

Re: Last DVD you watched?

Fearless - One of the greatest and most realistically frightening plane crash scenes I've ever seen put on film!

Currently watching The Lost Room, so far we've watched The Key, The Clock, The Comb, and The Box.

Strange concept... -kd5-

Re: Last DVD you watched?

The Two Towers - extended version disc three, if I heard/read it correctly, there are ~1500 still images on this disc, in addition to the ~4 hours of special features

Seems like you've been watching LOTR for the last several days Trevor. My wife & I just watched it a few months ago, so it'll be awhile before we watch it again. I like the extended length DVDs (vs. the theatrical versions) but my god are they long... -kd5-

That was the mini-series with Peter Krause, right? I really enjoyed it.

Yep, as part of DVDTalk's May Challenge, the Make-Your-Own-Challenge, I vowed to watch every second of content from all the LOTR releases. If you thought the films were long, try watching all the content.

Re: Last DVD you watched?

A Nightmare on Elm St. 5: The Dream Child - The series takes a swan dive which it never recovers from. Some decent stuff here towards the end, but the crap story and terrible characters make it a bit of a chore to get to.

Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare - Fuck you, Rachel Talalay. At least it's got Alice Cooper in a cameo. The writing is beyond atrocious. Freddy is officially a fucking joke in this movie.

Re: Last DVD you watched?

Did a Texas double-feature: Dr. T & the Women and Tin Cup. Both were predictable, but likable. I think both would have starred Kurt Russell had they been made in the 80s.
