February 29: Palo Alto (2013)

Even though this film garnered its share of critical praise, I found it to be an overwhelming bore.

Terence Malick's 'Badlands' (1973).

Just to demonstrate how limited my powers of observation used to be, this viewing - coming many years after my original viewing - impressed me this time with just how enigmatical the soundtrack behind the visuals really is.

Truly an impressive directorial debut for Malik.

Watched the theatrical version of Legend (from the 2-disc Ultimate Edition) this evening, followed by the first 2 episodes of Andromeda (S2): The Widening Gyre and Exit Strategies.

Curse of the Fly - very different from the first 2, a unique feeling of dread helped by the piano soundtrack

Im watching Princess Mononoke tonight right now. Pretty good movie even though its a little violent for a Myazaki/Ghibli movie

This late at night tonight im watching the old DVD of Land of the Dead with the commentary track on. Also didnt notice in the movie until just now that the Crockett character from Diary of the Dead and Survival of the Dead, he's in Land of the Dead also

Watched almost 3 hrs. of Stephen King's Rose Red this evening, we'll finish it up tomorrow.

yeah i have the regular blu ray release that has both regular theatrical release and directors cut blu rays. ill probably wait until Friday to watch Doctor Sleep since im busy with reading Mistborn Final Empire and watching the bonus features for the Ultimate Edition DVD of Evil Dead.

that and rewatching G.I. Jo Rise of Cobra and GI Joe Retaliation
