Sin City

Last night (18 January), my wife and I watched America's Sweethearts and Trapped in Paradise. Both were predictable, but still mostly enjoyable. Neither of us had seen the former, and I had never seen the latter. That's two more movies out of our unwatched pile! Woot!

Big Nothing. Surprisingly awesome movie. One of my better $3 Big Lots purchases.

Final Destination 3

I sometimes forgot how fun and fast-paced these films can be. Some really awesome Death Scenes in the third installment.

Just finished watching Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny, which was a Black Friday '08 purchase. I reckon it was worth the $2.00 we paid. I confess, though, it really made me want to play some Guitar Hero.

Wild Hogs. We had some playback issues on our Blu-ray player, but we moved to the bedroom and it was fine on our DVD player. It was pretty much as expected: a safe, predictable studio production that was still enjoyable.
