Re: Last DVD you watched?

I tried to watch Death Proof last night, but I got bored and swapped it with Child's Play instead.

I watched both Planet Terror and Death Proof last night. It was so much fun! I don't see how it is possible you were bored watching Death Proof. It's so high octane. I still get as into the conclusion as I did the first time I saw it in theater. So kick ass.

Last DVD I watched was Wild Man Blues. I'd seen parts of it before on tv, so it was nice to finally see it in entirety. Woody Allen is such a fascinating person to watch - and I must admit I was impressed by the music.

Elegy (2008), starring Ben Kingsley and Penelope Cruz.

Very underrated movie, with phenomenal acting.

Re: Last DVD you watched?

Before Sunrise - One of the most perfect films of modern times IMO. I can't go a year without watching. There may not be a film more screaming out for a re-release. I so wish Criterion would get all over this one & put out a Blu-Ray of it.

Re: Last DVD you watched?

Watched 'Blood Diamond' and 'National Treasure 2' in Blu-Ray. First two movies to test out the new SVS sub -- was expecting more bass in NT:2...

Re: Last DVD you watched?

I just watched Beverly Hills Chihua with my kids. It's been out a while, but it was a decent movie. Great for kids.

Re: Last DVD you watched?

Lock-Up John Flynn has fun with this one. Donald Sutherland chews some scenery and Stallone gets better as the film progresses. Good prison exploitation film.

The Beatles: Magical Mystery Tour
Paul McCartney: Back in the US

Hadn't watched either of these in several years. Just as good as I remember.

Re: Last DVD you watched?

Last movie I watched was The Big Lebowski (I can ALWAYS get a laugh outta that)
Last tv I watched was season 3 of It's Always Sunny In Philly. That's a show that took me a while to finally sit down and watch, and it has quickly become one of my all-time favorite comedies

Reaper S2.

I hate how it ended on such a cliffhanger. Hopefully the comic will make up for it.

Intruder (1989) It was OK, but even at 88 mins it still felt long. 2/5.
