I'm jealous that you will be watching these for the first time, two of my favorite films ever, not just horror, but in general.

I just finished up the Fearless Vampire Killers... and am about to start Rosemarry's Baby followed by the Tenant....two more of my favorites, it kills me I can't watch Repulsion blu-ray, as my blu-ray player ate shit.

The Archive.org channel on Roku is pretty decent. And if anyone is using Roku, the first search hit doesn't have sound, but the second one does. Kind of sucks since the second one doesn't have as good of picture quality, but I guess sound is pretty important.

Damn it, I watched a movie on my iPod because I didn't think it was going to sync up today.

BTW The Irrefutable Truth About Demons is pretty decent if you are looking for something that is a bit off the beaten path for todays theme.

I almost think theme night should have it's own thread.

Nice! I think I'm going to be doing the same. I've seen so many scenes from it that I feel like I've seen Frankenstein, but I don't think I ever have sat down and watched it. Same goes for Bride. I'm looking forward to trying to remedy that this challenge.

You should really be familiar with the third film, Son of Frankenstein, also before watching Young Frankenstein (to get the full effect of the Kenneth Mars character).

I don't remember any actual nudity in Frankenhooker. Maybe I'm wrong though.

Thanks! I was gonna watch it on the Pub-D-Hub channel, but for some reason the player restarts a few minutes in almost every time I watch something on it.

Sorry, I couldn't help myself.

Thought about it. But with all the current threads and in three separate forums at that, I thought it might be overkill.

Vampire Circus has wonderful nudity in the beginning. Maybe not so gratuitous, but man is it beautiful. Definitely check it out. It's on Netflix instant.

Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 6th Annual "October Horror Movie Challenge" (10/1 - 10/3

I just finished up Texas Chainsaw Massacre w/ commentary from the director, cinematographer and leatherface. I love the film endlessly but the commentary track was rather dry. Oh well, it helped pass the time as I boxed up the majority of my movie collection for our move across town later this week.

Just got word that we have an awesome new sponsor:

The DVDs are being mailed out to me this week. I won't know what the actual titles are until they arrive.

Didn't know that was on Netflix, thanks. Already mentioned earlier, but The Video Dead is also a streaming-only title.

Yeah, they were both great and I can see why Bride is considered one of the greatest sequel's ever. Funny, I watched Rosemary's Baby (for the first time) tonight too.

Congrats Undeadcow on the trivia win!

I gave it a glance last night, but quickly realized I wasn't going to do very well with it. Great idea/contest, Chad. I like how it was a challenge and not something that could be googled quickly.

Finished the 4 hour Never Sleep Again. Had no idea I was in for an epic when I started watching it, but it was awesome. Very highly recommended for fans of the Elm Street series. Lots of great interviews and stories that I haven't heard anywhere else before.

But after all that education, I need something to clear mind, so I'm watching Strip Nude for Your Killer.

An excellent documentary. I saw the runtime involved with it, so I watched it late last month. Didn't want to take up so much time with it in October and it served to wet my horror appetite.

Congrats to UndeadCow.

I'm really excited about how many movies I've been able to watch so far this year. I'm on track to at least match what I did last year.

Re: 100 Movies. 31 Days. The 6th Annual "October Horror Movie Challenge" (10/1 - 10/3

Had a decent day today. Pretty Poison was my surprise of the day.

Going to take in The Mist tonight and maybe start All the Colors of the Dark.

I started 28 Days Later last night but wasn't impressed with what I saw so far, plus the video on the blu-ray is utter crap. Only about 45 minutes in, maybe it gets better.
