Friends DVD set

Wanted to ask the members here this question, bid on Ebay for a gift for my wife. She wanted the Friends Complete DVD series. Won the bid for $98 total. Checked my paypal just a short while ago and saw this:

Class: Express Mail International®
Status: Foreign International Dispatch

Your item left SHANGHAI EMS, CHINA PEOPLES REP on December 26, 2009. Information, if available, is updated periodically throughout the day. Please check again later.

I noticed now that the seller is not registered with Ebay any longer. Does this mean I will probably get a bootleg set or one that is questionable. Never had this happen before so just wondering....
Thanks!!!

Re: Friends DVD set

I think you answered your own question - mailed from China, no longer registered with eBay!

Too bad too - this set, and I would guess not a pirated version, is now available for only $31 more at Amazon.com ($129.49). Well, good luck. Again - I have to say - this is why I don't buy anything on greedbay.

Re: Friends DVD set

If you paid with PayPal and the item is not as described, you should have the possibility to complain and ultimately get your money back.

Amazon.co.uk sells the Friends box set for about $63. (Region 2, of course.)

Re: Friends DVD set

Couldn't you have asked this in your previous Friends thread?
