Yeah, the specs don't say - but I'm assuming it will be too...decent price for a 2-disc release.

If it doesn't include a copy of Global Thermonuclear War, no sale.

"Would you like to play a game?"

This would be a title I would be happy to double dip on. Can't wait!

Stupid MGM doesn't say anymore, but anamorphic Wargames I assume. It's about time, I'm all over this. Will pass on the cheese-quel though

Thanks for posting OP

I'll most likely spring for the double dip and just give the sequel a rent.

Can't say I'm disappointed by the cover art. It actually works for me. When you think of some of the truly horrible re-release artwork out there (Groundhog Day), this is perfectly acceptable. This and The Manhattan Project compliment each other very well. Tempted to pick up all three, but would need to know if the WarGames sequel is any good.

This needs to be followed by Electric Dreams, another computer geek movie from the early days of the PC.

As long as this is 16:9, I will be all over this re-release. Pity a 16:9 SD release of "Short Circuit" doesn't seem to be in the cards...

/guess I'll pick that one up in a couple years once Blu player prices go down...
//will stick with my 2000-era SE DVD.
///and yes, I am a cheap bastard.

Wish they had ponied up for a new commentary (Broderick/Sheedy/Coleman would have been nice), but this is long overdue. Crappy cover, to no one's surprise.

THIS CORN IS RAW!!!!!!

Always good to see a classic 80s movie getting a SE release. Definately a buy for me.

the background of the cover looks like it used a screencap from defcon, which is a game that was inspired by wargames. the game in the movie doesn't have those little radioactive circle things. anyway, it's a pretty cool game.
