Eh; my taste in films isn't nearly as sophisticated or developed as most of you. Although, I will say that I had grown frustrated at trying to find The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance until it appeared in one of Walmart's batches of $4 titles late last year/earlier this year. Had you asked me this about a year ago, I would have answered with Rhino's releases of G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero and Transformers, but I hear the current Shout! Factory releases are better anyway, with a lower MSRP to boot.

A lot of the earlier WWF/WWE releases. I'd always thought about starting to collect them but always decided against it. By the time I finally decided to go for it, a ton of the titles were OOP.

Is there any sort of compiled master list or web resource for checking OOP titles? I know somebody on here does a great thread here with OOP lists in it--however being of the incredibly lazy persuasion I am hoping for something like a search where you just type in the name or UPC and boom there's your answer.
I've never really payed attention much to what is OOP unless I actually really WANT the movie to watch, but I am curious to go through my collection and see what falls where.

Where exactly should I be looking at the listing on DVDAF? I have only a few DVDs I was sure were OOP (or thought were anyway)...but when I look them up it doesn't indicate one way or the other...chances are I am missing something...I usually am.

Type in the title under search and it should come up and to the far right under publisher if its oop, it will say it in red letters.

The criterion cover would indeed make an awesome steelbook. I would buy that in a heartbeat, despite already ownign the Criterion edition and the Steelbook.

Oh yeah. There are still WWF Attitude releases I want. I wish they'd get around to releasing a Survivors Series collector's set.

Would be cool to have, but I got money better spent elsewhere.

My thoughts as well. The only reason I got it, was I found it for dirt cheap.

I see them pop up now and again. it is not really that pressing of a want for me right now, but if I saw it for cheap enough, I would bite. Problem is, they are criterions and they can and should fetch a premium. In fact I think I saw someone over on the exchange forum selling some.

Yes, it is on DVD...a standalone one-disc ST2:TWOK with the theatrical cut was just released last month....on the same day standalone one-disc re-releases of Parts 4, 6, and 8 were released as well, in fact Part 6 features the theatrical cut for the first time ever on DVD...

Anyways, I was picking the BSG movie The Plan at Best Buy today and they had these single disc release of 2, 4, 6 and 8, $14.99 a piece.
