The Digital Bits is reporting that A&E has confirmed that this set will include all of the supplemental material from the Starburst Editions in addition to some new material. TV Shows on DVD is also reporting that the Megaset will include the "Farscape Undressed" special.

Interesting note from Henson about the possibility of a Blu release:

There is a version of Farscape that is better resolution than what anybody in America has ever seen, because we shot on the British-Australian video format which is PAL, 625 lines of resolution. So it has better color resolution and better image resolution than American broadcast television. It's isn't high-def, though. It's 625 as opposed to 720 or 1080. So there is something better than what people have seen on TV. So it would bump up to high def and look better than a regular DVD, much better, but it wouldn't look as good as what people would think of as high def. So I'm not sure whether anybody will ever want to do it. If we were to do a Blu-ray release, which I think should happen at some point, it's never going to be high, high-def resolution. But it will be better than what people have seen on DVD. So at some point I'm sure we will revisit a Blu-ray release. I think I once budgeted it and I think it was something over $4 million a season to actually go back and upgrade the effects to high def. And that was when we still had the film in vaults. ... So maybe for the 20th anniversary? |

Just preordered it with the peacekeeper wars for $112.xx... I'm so excited! I've only ever seen the pilot. I can't wait!

The movie is Hotel de Love (1996). You can find screencaps easily online. But yeah, she's a really good actress with an awesome body and a gorgeous face.

TVShowsonDVD has the finalized list of extras for the set.
Looks like it contains most of the material from the Starburst editions; it doesn't list things like the photo galleries and concept art, but the Megaset has two DVDs worth of supplemental material, so the minor extras that aren't specifically listed could still show up there. |

Apparently Best Buy is going to have an exclusive "Mega Collection" that has the Peacekeeper Wars included in the set but its limited to 5000 copys

Thought I'd bump this thread in case any sci-fi fans aren't aware that Farscape: The Complete Series set is being released on November 17.
[Best current deal seems to be at wherehouse.com using the 30% coupon, expires 11/5. The DD sale, if there is one, might beat that. As MR Round mentions above, Best Buy is reported to have a 5000 copy limited edition that will also include The Peacekeeper Wars miniseries finale.] ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Dude, you're in for a treat. One of the best Sci-fi series of all time. Season 1 is the weakest of the series but is still and EXCELLENT season. season 2 is where it kicks into high gear and just leaves em in the dust.

Check your local Best Buy. The one in central Ky was selling them early. Just picked up a copy today. True I could get it cheaper online, but with my RZ coupons not too big of a deal. PKWars is actually packed in the Archives case, not just shrinkwrapped to the outside.
