Re: What are your true guilty pleaure DVDs in your collection?

My love for Betsy Russell means that I have "Private School for Girls" and "Tomboy" in my collection. Those two DVDs are going to be my answers to this question.

I wouldn't call it a guilty pleasure, but I have collection of Sesame Street dvds that a lot of people would probably think at 27, that I am too old to have.

Christmas Eve on Sesame Street
Follow that Bird
Sesame Street Old school vol. 1-2

I know its popular to hate on Dane Cook, but I have both My Best Friend's Girl and Good Luck Chuck. My Best Friend's Girl is actually very funny.

For some reason i couldn't get through that. I tried watching it a few times and thought I would like it but just didn't , but now i've said too much, wish there was some way to make this message explode.

I, Robot rocks. It may not have adhered to book in the least, but it's a damn fun movie. Also in terms of Will Smith sci-fi action, far better than ID4, the MIB flicks, and Legend.

As for myself? Hmmm... Charlie's Angels is a good answer already mentioned, although I haven't watched it in years. Notting Hill is another. Got it... Malena. It's a good flick but seriously, there are only two reasons to watch that flick and everyone knows what those reasons are.

Since those are over 30 years old, I say you're not old ENOUGH to have them!

Anyone have Women's Prison House massacre? I got that on DVD over the holidays, but haven't watched it yet. Would anyone consider that a guilty pleasure?

Re: What are your true guilty pleaure DVDs in your collection?

If anything, it would probably be one of the magical-girl or barely-dressed-girl anime series I have. Not because I'm necessary embarrassed of them, I think they're good shows or I have sold the ones I didn't like, but that they carry a stigma or something in most people's eyes.
I have no problem with classic kids TV or cartoons--Danger Mouse, Dungeons and Dragons, George of the Jungle, Muppets, Fraggle Rock, are all recent purchases I'm fine with. I'd rather my boy watch some of those with me than most of the (what I think is) crap on regular tv nowadays.

Holy Hypocracy Batman!
Umm... could you not group homosexuality with pedophilia, they are unrelated and that is really offensive.

I have Women's Prison Massacre. Is that the same one you're thinking of?

I could see where some would consider films of that type guilty pleasures but I'm a fan of exploitation flicks, so I wouldn't

Not many... Lara Croft: Tomb Raider comes to mind. Depending on my mood, The Matrix Reloaded is a guilty pleasure... or just a regular pleasure.

I own both Dirty Work and Screwed as well. Those are dumb but funny Norm McDonald films. They definitely fall in this category.

Generally speaking, I don't think it's a good idea to own films you feel guilty about enjoying.

Ernest Goes to Camp may be OOP, but it sure seems like most stores still have it in stock, at least in Canada.
