Boycotting isn't going to work, but if it makes you feel better at the end of the day, by all means.

Count me in as another that doesnt buy into the whole double dip mentality. If I want to own a movie, I will buy it when it comes out. I wont buy it again 6 months down the road, just becasue a new version came out to tie in with the sequel or whatever. If I dont feel the need to own it immediately, I will wait. Everythign drops below 10 bucks at some point. There are dvds that I want at $10 and soem I want at $20. But I dont really understand the people that will buy every release of a movie, just so they can own every release. It seems silly to me.

Look at where all the "boycotts" on forced trailers on DVDs got us. Now forced trailers are on nearly every DVD you buy.

Imagine my surprise when my wife proposed recently that we go Blu by late summer. I think this might be among my initial BD purchases...in one form or another.

Digital Bits said the the word on the street is that Watchmen will be released on 7-28, and to except an official announcement any day. They said that about 2 weeks ago.
