The complete series set has just been confirmed w/a July 28th release date. This is for the Blu-ray release, but they are also assuming a SD release for the same date. They are also predicting a 4/21 release date for S4.5, which is the street date for the Caprica pilot.

Since this is such a fan-driven show, I'm hoping any extras in the complete set are available separately for those of us that bought each season set.

Been holding off on buying any of the season, just waiting for this.... hope they have some kind of limited edition with a cool case like a Cylon head or Galactica

Haven't picked up season 4 yet, so I may hold off until that triple pack in April. Unless it looks like the complete series will be cheap enough to justify selling off my current sets and upgrading.

I am going to assume this complete series release will also include "Razor", since the DVD release of Season 4.0 included it....but I am wondering if this will include "The Plan" which is set to air a month or so before this is released....if not, then it won't truly be THE COMPLETE SERIES, and there better be a standalone release on Blu-ray of this last film!

I would assume they'll include it, but no information yet. The Plan is supposed to air in June and they released Razor on dvd before it aired on SciFi. I'm sure we'll have all the info in the next month.

I'm a total geek for this show, so I already have all of them except for Season 4.0 which I plan on getting as soon as I go back to Best Buy.

I'll probably drop down the bones for the complete series package if they have some enticing "NEW" special features though.

It would be nice if they put all the deleted scenes back into the episodes for this as well.

Guess I picked the wrong time to get into this show. Just picked up season 1 and watched in in 3 days. Can't wait 4 months to continue so I guess I won't be seeing these on Blu any time soon.

Everyone keeps telling me that I need to be watching this show. I picked up S1 on dvd ages ago, but havent gotten around to watching it. At this point, I might wait and make the complete series a blind buy, dependign on the price point.

Unless the set features an episode where Galactica kids kick the crap out of Earth kids in baseball, no deal!

I'm honestly thinking of doing that myself.

The only other thing I might do is just rent the seasons from the local Blockbuster or Netflix, and then purchase the Complete Series on Blu when released (depending on the price and if I like it, of course).

I saw the first few episodes. Great stuff, very very great stuff. Will be getting the Complete set pretty much blindly. Hopefully it has every extra from the previous sets and maybe even more.

As a pretty dedicated fan, I have to tell you that there's more than a few rough patches. Both from network interference, and from apparent writer's block. There's still a few eps to go till the series finale, but I just want to say that even with the rough spots, it is worth it, but don't go in expecting perfection in every episode.

BSG is fantastic. 4.5 has been truly amazing. Blood on the Scales if counted as a feature film would rank in my top 10 all time favorites. There are some rough spots when taking the whole series as one. Season 1 especially has what I call "stand alone syndrome," where ongoing storyline is brushed aside for individual episodes that could be watched without call backs to previous episodes or pre existing information.
Still, If you haven't gotten in on the series, its worth the bones.

There is a Season 2.0/2.5 pack scheduled for release on 5/19 at amazon, I actually preordered it thinking it was the 4.0/4.5 pack before I realized the difference.

So, during Friday's airing of the series finale, they showed an ad for 'The Plan' saying that it would air this November. Since there still hasn't been an official announcement regarding either the Season 4.5 set or the complete series, I'm thinking that the complete series might not be released until the end of the year so it can include 'The Plan'.
