Re: X-Men(animated) coming to DVD
I'd say there's a high probability of that.
Might even be before then since Amazon UK has a June 22 release date listed for Volume 1 of the 95 series (I say this because they released XMen in the UK first and then not long after it was released in the US)

Irrelevent I'm afraid; the companies that were releasing the Marvel stuff here (first, Liberation - went bust; then Revelation, who then decided they weren't interested) and are (ClearVision) have no relation whatsoever to Disney.
Thus, a title being released in the UK is no indicator at all that it may be imminent in the USA.
although, Disney will probably be looking at the UK sales figures; if the other Marvels do well here - we are getting Silver Surfer, Spider-Man and Fantastic Four (which you already had from Disney!) - this, in combination with the good performance of X-Men, might convince then to release. Assuming they have the rights.

According to someone at Toonzone, a fifth and final volume is in the works!

For those who saw it, TVShowsonDVD is reporting that the next two sets will put the episodes in their correct production order rather than the order they were aired in way back when.
That is good news if you ask me.

Re: X-Men(animated) coming to DVD
Hi. I was watching Vol 2 with my brother and noticed a glitch.. In the Phoenix Saga part 5, near the end where the volcano is spitting out rock, the final one that hits the train tracks.. Has anyone notice a major glitch (the image gets "blocky") as the fireball explored and wiped to the NYC scene?
I got the disc a while ago and past the store's 30 day policy.. If I have a glitched disc, anyone have the contact for the distrubutor?
Thanks

I think I'll wait for the complete series set of X-Men until I take the plunge.
I already bought an...er...advanced copy on eBay, so I can watch the mutants until then.
When a full set comes out, it'll look nice next to this:

It'll be like High School after school programming all over again.
My favorite X-Tale was the Beyond Good and Evil Storyarc.
"Look who I'm savin'...you'd think I was Xavier!"

I really, really, really don't see Disney plunging on an complete series boxset with the X-Men cartoons. We're lucky we're getting the volumes alone as it is. I'd suggest buying this otherwise you'll be waiting for something that will never come to fruition.

I dont know, with they way they are touting how much its selling, maybe they want to make that money all over again.

I'm banking on it.
Never thought there would be a Batman TAS boxset, either, but I still waited for all the sets to come out before taking the plunge. Then, one day cruising the aisle of a local Best Buy, I was cock-slapped in the face by it.
Impulse buy. Immediate.
Trust me, your follow-on actions are all instinct after you get smacked in the face with the cock.

Disney is weird about shit like that. I could EASILY see WB do a set for Batman. But...I don't think Disney would do it..not for this.

This is in the bargain section but for anyone who didn't see you can preorder Volumes 3-4 from Amazon for $29.98 by adding both to your cart.

Like I said before when Volumes 1-2 were coming out, everyone this appeals to needs to order these sets. Volumes 1-2 sold well over expectations to the point that Disney themselves said so in their press release for Volumes 3-4. Let's not let X-Men be another Gargoyles where the rest of the series doesn't get released because not enough people bought the DVDs. If you're an X-Men fan get these and encourage anyone else you think would be interested to do so.
And I have absolutely no proof of this, but I'm sure if these volumes sell well we'll not only get the rest of the series on DVD, but other Marvel animation too. Spider-Man had even fewer episodes than X-Men so if these DVDs sell well it's not too far fetched to imagine that Spider-Man will finally get the release it deserves. And I know Disney had several good chances to put Spider-Man out on DVD (such as when Spider-Man 1, 2, and 3 came out), but maybe they'll do so when Spider-Man 4 comes along. So far all the X-Men volumes have been released to coincide with the Wolverine theatrical release and the Wolverine DVD release.
