I like the revised better. Color scheme is more in keeping with the look of the film. Plus, that last cover had been used before. Honestly, though, it could be a blank white cover with "Pumpkinhead" written on it and I'd still buy it.

I like the updated art work better also. I traded in my original dvd copy of this so I can pick up the new version. Widescreen is what did it for me. So now I'm waiting for September 9th to pick this up.

yeah i have the foolscreen one, and will have to switch out. Good movie though, and was actually the second dvd I bought in 2001, behind Phantasm. Reason being it was only 9.99

Looks like no stores are carrying this. Amazon has it for 13.99, DVD Planet and Deep Discount don't even have it listed, Best Buy.com has it on backorder.

Yup, most stores around here either dont have it listed or is on backorder for a few weeks. Saves me a few bucks for now i guess. May just order online if i dont feel like going out. Barnes & Noble had it listed as 9/28 for release.

MGM did the same thing last year when they released Scarecrows and The Burning... You couldn't find them anywhere and only a few online retailers carried them.
Their distrubution is so wacked.

I'm going to try my local Fry's on Thurs. Hopefully they still have a few copies left. If not the guy at DVD Planet told me they should get some in this week, he just didn't know when.
Goddamn you, MGM!
