I guess I'll post my revised setup/collection. I just upgraded yesterday to the new 2008 Samsung 40" LCD 1080p (LN40A550), which displays a gorgeous picture. BDs completely blow away DVD in the image quality department on this set. My next goal is to upgrade my 5.1 setup, which will be months down the road.

Full collection here, except my tv shows are on another shelf. These shelves were bought at Best Buy, at $99 each. They are great and easy to assemble. They hold about 350 each.

Congrats on the new TV Mr.Cinema, it looks great! What receiver do you have, I think I see an Onkyo.
And great to see that you added up Bonnie and Clyde, the restoration is breathtaking.

The receiver is the Denon AVR-587, which I've had for about 2 years. It's one of their older base models and unfortunately, lacks HDMI. A new receiver is next on my list. I'm chomping at the bit to hear DTS HD MA audio.
I had never seen Bonnie and Clyde until the BD. Aside from being a great film, the picture quality is incredible and once again, shows you the major benefits of having Blu-ray. We know new films are going to look great, but the fact that older films can look like they were made today is really the main reason I own the format. I want more classics, just like you do. With the job WB did with Bonnie and Clyde, I am very excited about how Gone With the Wind, Ben Hur, and North by Northwest are going to turn out next year.
I really love the tv. I watched No Country for Old Men and it's just a jaw-dropping picture. It is the best looking BD I've seen to date. Beautiful photography.

Don't you hate how that "Bonnie and Clyde" sticks out so much? It sticks out so much more than all my other BDs.

Yeah, the Bonnie & Clyde book case doesn't bother me too much, but it certainly sticks out. The Close Encounters of the Third Kind packaging is still my favorite. Very classy and sturdy looking case.

It's literally been a few years since last posting my collection in one of the earlier threads. And back then it was roughly 1/4 the size and consisted of just the middle cabinet. Here it is now:

And speaking of that middle shelf, the reason it differs considerably from the other four is because it was originally one of the lockable kind:

I removed the doors/hinges, rearranged a few shelves and carefully placed them on top of the bottom portion. Worked out pretty well.
EDIT: The HT is being upgraded in the very near future, so I'll hold off posting those pics until then.

Chad, I love how you set up your collection. Kudos
I should be taking pictures soon, right after I finish my clean up.

I've spent since the end of last year redoing my movie database and finished last month. I've spent the last few days reorganizing my DVDs as I had rows of them on the floor making it hard to walk around. I finally finished today, except for one box set I just now noticed I missed and a couple more movies I overlooked.
Here's some stuff downstairs. Blu-ray stuff since the PS3 is down there along with some kids stuff that moves down from upstairs. I'm in the process of hooking my newer speakers up to the ceiling so they'll use the wiring that's in the walls instead of hanging all over. I also plan on getting a larger TV.

I don't have enough shelf space and I've gotten some plans for building some wall mounted units that'll reach up towards the ceiling. Just need to find the right wood.
Not all the furniture is always kept there and it's a mess as I'm trying to reorganize everything in there. I also plan to make the window coverings look nicer. Right now they work great but just hideous.
I have some light rope running along the back of the room. I need one more strand of it and then to install it and it should be pretty.

113" screen

Ran out of shelf space for these

Mountain of some of the tapes I've mostly collected from video stores closing or getting rid of their VHS section. I try and clear out the horror and sci-fi sections of stuff that isn't out on DVD. I'm a fan of films first, quality second and format third.

Not pictured are 18 large(can hold between 200 to over 300 discs) binders because I really don't have room for everything.

Aight here's a few pics... setup pics downstairs didn't turn out (apprehensive about posting too much anyways) I keep all my stuff upstairs out of sight (at least the movies/music)...haven't painted yet either.
