ThriceDamed,
How often do you get to make use of the stadium seating? Nonetheless, SWEET! It's a thing of beauty to have stadium seating in your house.....
TallGuyMe,
I do my best marketing work when surrounded by books....I can't imagine how creative I'd be if surrounded by DVDs in that serene environment. Very nice.

Better view of the riser and in-built subwoofers:

Nota bene: In a few of the photos there are strange "dots". It's the fault of the camera, not something that is actually there.

I have many friends and relatives who enjoy coming over. I'd say that I have more than 2 people over at least a couple of times a week.

The in-built subs really kick. It's good stuff, although as I'm fairly heavily into art-house, foreign and classic cinema, I don't utilize them as much as I should.

I recently expanded my shelves, so heres some new pics:
BTW, here an explanation on how I arrange my TV on DVD Collection. Complete series are the start, then its in descending order, by number of releases. For example, 10 seasons of South Park, 6 seasons of Smallville, 5 Seasons of Alias, etc, down to 1 of 30 Rock for example. Just the way I like to do it, as it keeps the look changing, when a new release makes that series move up the shelf.
Bottom shelf is Blu-ray obviously, row above is Dragon Dynasty, and custom spines for Van Damme, Jet Li, Seagal, Lundgren movies
Blu-Ray winning changed the landscape. Gone are the X-Box 360, and HD-A2, hello PS3 & PSP. Same 42" Plasma, with HD DVR, and Yamaha HTIB
And now Comic Stuff:
Silver Age collection, many years and some lucky deals
Yup. It a Snake Eyes sword

And now Comic Stuff:
I hope you have all those high dollar comics out of direct sunlight! I like the idea of hanging up comics as decorations but I shudder at the thought of hanging up my 1968 Ironman number one.
But anyway, real nice setup. Did you ditch your 360 altogether or just set it up in a back room with the rest of your HDDVD stuff?!?!
Take care all!!

The 24 DVDs are in small 8 disc cases, with downloaded custom artwork. Those old Fox cases are huge, and all different sizes! I did the same thing with Alias, and just made a personal custom for Painkiller Jane, cause retail art is fugly.
A few of the DD come with slip covers. Killzone, City of Violence, and a few others.
Not enough DC fumanstan
Yes the comics are away from sunlight! Its just a pain now to find old Showcase Sealers.
As far as the 360, I ditched it. A friend who I do all my online gaming with (who also had a 360) we decided to both go PS3, and since most games aren't exclusive anymore, I sold it. My parents have the HD-A2 for up-converting.
Thanks guys!

Much cheaper than having custom cabinetry installed.
