The DVD is a standard size. Roughly the size of something like the Simpsons seasons. Not sure about the Blu Ray or HD-DVD versions.

For anyone in Michigan, there was 1 Blu-Ray briefcase at the FYE in Westland Mall (Westland, MI). It was in the same section as all their HD discs.

I believe the price was $79.99 or 89.99.

Question for you all regarding the blu-ray briefcase: The case that holds the 5 discs, is it the cool dark case that folds open, or the standard blu-ray case that you can get separately on it's own? the picture of the back of the standard briefcase shows the nice dark one that folds open with pictures, while the picture on the back of the blu-ray briefcase shows the 5 disc stand alone case.

I know that the HD-DVD does not come in the dark digipak, so I wouldn't imagine that the blu-ray would be any different, but this is just speculation.

Wow, that is surprising. You would think all the briefcases would come in the digipack. Thanks for clarifying it for me.

I have a question about one of the features on disk 4. If you go to Longevity -> 1982 Featurettes -> Behind the Scenes outtakes, you will see the video but it does not have audio. Was this just on my copy or do all sets not have audio on this featurette?

I believe it's supossed to be without audio, TheDuke. I known mine is. I guess they just rolled footage of the sets, not caring about the sound.

Has anyone noticed milky swirls on disc 1? I put in my DVD player to test it out. It seems to play ok but it still concerns me.

Now those are definitely going for far more than they're worth.

I believe the European tin box also comes with the lucite hologram, and at least one webshop in Scandinavia has been offering the unicorn as an incentive.

Nope, that's definitely not the same. The DVD edition does not have the "frame" between the front wheels.

I have had a lot of those on my DVDs and they all play fine. I wouldn't worry about it.

I got mine in the mail earlier today, just not checking out the packaging and everything. Wow, how does this not get voted DVD of the year? Heck, it's a major candidate for DVD of the forever.

I really hope Lucas gets his head out of his ass and gives the Star Wars Fans a really nice HD set umm in 2019 maybe lol. Blade Runner is above and beyond the best dvd set released. It's just amazing. I never even saw Blade runner and still had to get it. It's now one of my favorites lol. Just a great set. Hopefully, it will make it to a museum.
