According to a comment by Capone on AICN, Wes "may" put some of the deleted scenes back into the movie. Also confirmed (and re-confirmed) are the presence of many deleted scenes, the short film, and even outtakes from the short film. No date was mentioned.

DVD Talk Limited Edition
*bump* So this is supposedly out in a week or so -- anyone heard any reviews of it yet? I've been waiting for this for what feels like years (and actually is!).

I have to say I do not like this transfer. The colors look terrible and washed out and darker.
WHat is it with Criterion and shitty transfers this year?

Are you sure you're looking at the right caps? On DVD Beaver, the Criterion screen caps (the ones on the bottom) look significantly brighter and with more vivid color than the darker, washed out Sony edition. On the Sony, the skin tones look practically gray in comparison.

I already have this DVD on order, but I was wondering how is it (particularly, with extras)? I really like all of Anderson's other Criterions, but surprisingly, haven't got much feedback about this one.
