Had to post this, I almost yelled out "Holy Shiit" in the middle of Walmart, when I saw they had 4 copies of the new Strikeforce dvd for only $17 bucks. Just shows you never know what Walmart will get in when it comes to dvds!

Question for Aces- what does the sticker on UFC 117 say about $5 off a ppv? My friend ordered the ppv and never burned a copy for me, so a dvd and $5 off the next one might be a good deal for me.

Hey Kurt, Im guessing if you send in the receipt with the UPC & your cable bill you'll get a $5 rebate check, I'm not too sure, I threw out the wrapper after I took the pic, and ignored the sticker since I don't order PPVs. Sorry I couldn't help out.

The repackaged 100 Greatest Fights set is at Walmart for $29.95 on DVD and $34.95 on Blu. Pretty solid prices for an awesome set.

Got them on ebay. They're dvdrs but the quality of the packaging/insert/disc art is excellent.

wait, this the same 8 disc set? since unless that set has clipped fights, i don't see how it could be priced that low

It looks to be the same set, just in standard packaging, rather than the book style packaging of the originals.

Yeah the original version that was released last year is much nicer packaging, something I care about and I know many others do also. The new version they actually fit all the BD's in a standard sized Blu-ray case, and put the 8 dvds in a thick clear case with a slipcover.

Anyone get the Pride: Bushido Collection 4: 11-13? Are all the fight complete and uncut?

Was also wondering if any of you had any reviews of the quality of the discs and the presentation of PRIDE 2006 Grand Prix set that was recently released? I've already seen the fights, just wondering about the VQ, the style of the box-set, etc.

So the Big Lots $3 UFC DVD sale is on again. From the two area stores I saw:

There was also some Superbrawl show with Robbie Lawler in the main event, but it looked really low quality so I didn't get it.

I've slowed down on my MMA collection, I'm pretty much all caught up w/UFC & Pride catalogs with the exception of these recent Pride re-releases, I wish I could help out with info, but sadly my wallet won't let me!

Picked up UFC 119 & Ultimate Heavyweights a day early today at Best Buy for $14.99 each. The blu-ray of Ultimate Heavyweights was $24.99, more than my budget could afford at the current time, so I just went w/the dvd for now. Ah well, I'll end up w/the blu one of these days. Here's a quick pic:

Picked up 120 @ FYE for $14.99, and Ultimate Submissions arrived in the mail today, I got it for approx $14 shipped from gohastings.com. I also have Ultimate Rampage blu-ray on the way which I got for roughly $14 shipped also.

If anyone can help me out, I'm looking very hard for Strikeforce's "Gracie vs Shamrock" dvd, their first show from San Jose that set the attendance record and such. Sherdog has it available to buy but it's been on back order for endless months. If anyone has this, or knows where I can get one, please drop me a line on here or via PM, I'm willing to pay good money for it. Thanks!
