Glad I could help. I started watching MMA around 2002 and had every DVD release of the Pride events. Like an idiot I sold them on eBay a few years back and these Legacy packs are a great way to build my collection back up.

UPS just delivered the WEC DVD to my house, really looking forward to watching it tonight.

Best Buy didn't get in the WEC BD or DVD. And the Walmart I went to had a spot for it, but they didn't have the dvd out for sale. I'm gonna grab both from Bestbuy.com I have a feeling this will be a rare title.

Yeah I noticed my Walmart had a placeholder but did not have the actual DVD. Best Buy did not have it either. I have been using the Free Amazon Prime for Students lately. You can get day of release delivery for free. If you have a college e-mail you can get one free year of Prime for free. I will be ordering the Best of WEC DVD this way as well.

Not sure if this is old news but I have not seen anything about it. Looks like there are a ton of upcoming Pride releases.

And FYI: I just ordered the Aldo vs. Faber Blu-Ray for $11.96 on Walmart.com AND it is eligible for site to store shipping so you don't have to pay extra, and if you do want it shipped to your house it costs less than a buck.

I wonder if they will all be single disc in the shockwave collection not the 2 disc that was originally released?

Don't know if anyone else has spotted these or not, but I was at my local Kmart a couple days ago and on one of the discount DVD racks next to the checkouts they had the Pride 2000 GP, still the steelbook case, for $6.99! They also had several copies so it was not a fluke either. So if you still need it, check if there is a Kmart near you.

Picked up UFC 114 today. Anyone else watch 117 on PPV this past weekend? That has to be one of the best Main Events I have ever seen.

Didn't see 117, but can't wait for the dvd. I grabbed 114 today also for $11.99 at FYE. Helluva deal, I love that all the UFC shows have the countdown shows too, great to watch before the actual event and get hyped up!

anybody know if ufc 100 dvd has an insert? i recently started collecting the ufc ppv's.. i started with 100 i'm up to 107 and they all seem to have an insert with the fight card on it.. exept ufc 100.

Ive always kind of wondered, are the countdown episodes shown uncensored on the dvd's? Mainly because, well certain fighters swear quite alot and its annoying having half the special bleeped out

Yes it did come with an insert, and also a white slipcover. I got mine at Walmart.

Just want to add I picked it up the day it came out.

FYI, sergtv, my UFC100 did not come with an insert or slipcover... I got mine from Amazon, fairly recently, so I can only assume they dropped both (?).

My UFC 100 did come with an insert but not a slipcover. I got it a few weeks ago on Amazon marketplace.

Amazon.com is having a sale from now until August 22nd... looks like UFC 83 through 112, plus Best of 2008 and 2009, and some of the Ultimate Knockouts are all $8.99-10.99. Good deals, especially on the more recent events. Good chance to get caught up if you're missing some!

Bah, mine didn't have it, though they had Best of Fight NIght and Ultimate Comebacks both for 9.99. I kick myself for not getting the Pride 2000 GP sooner.

Just a heads up, The Best of WEC dvd & bd hits tomorrow, 9/7. Best Buy has them for 9.99 and 14.99. I got an advance copy and have to say the only bad thing about it is it's only 1 disc! Definitely worth the money if you want to see some great MMA.

Strikeforce is releasing a DVD, a 2 disc set, coming on Oct. 12. Description is as follows:

"Strikeforce, the world-class mixed martial arts cage fight league that houses some of the greatest fighters in the world, comes to DVD for the first time! Featuring some of the biggest, most brutal fights in history with superstars of the Octagon Fedor Emelianenko, Brett Rogers, Robbie Lawler and more PLUS rare special features such as never-before-broadcast fights and exclusive fighter interviews. A must have for any MMA fan!"

Sounds pretty good... hopefully they make good choices about which fights to include.

Picked up Ultimate Fighter 11 (Tito vs Chuck) for $24.99 at FYE yesterday. Also got the new release of "Ultimate Submissions" at Walmart for $15. Both solid editions to the collection.

Next week (Oct 12) be on the lookout for the Strikeforce DVD, looks to have a hefty price tag for a first release (24.99), hopefully it'll be able to stand up next to the other Best of MMA dvds out there.

Hey all,
I noticed some recent postings about the UFC 100 greatest fights blu ray and dvd releases. I believe the originals are discontinued (although can be found online), however, I noticed the dvd version has been repackaged (no longer a digipack but now a slipcover like some of the Ultimate Fighter releases) and is selling for $49 at Walmart here in Canada. It looks like the repackaged versions are to be available November 2nd, however Walmart here has a few in advance. BTW, I hate when they repackage!

Thanks for that info JS, I was wondering what the deal with the re releases was going to be. I personally own both the original DVD set and original BD set (Long story why I have both, anyways) and love the packaging, it's good to have the originals. I'm anticipating these releases also to see if they added any additional content. It'd be cool if they had a bonus disc with it showcasing the best matches of the past year and where they'd rank accordingly. Probably wont happen but a man can hope can't he?

And as a side note, I found out the Strikeforce DVD (2 disc) will be carried by FYE, with a tag of $29.99. May have to hold out til Hastings gets them in stock used (or new)since they tend to have the lowest prices around.

Heres some info about the new Strikeforce DVD:

Strikeforce is releasing its first DVDs on 10/12 through CBS Home Entertainment and
Paramount Home Entertainment including the Fabricio Werdum win over Fedor Emelianenko.

The two disc set airs the May 15 (Alistair Overeem vs. Brett Rogers), June 16 (Robbie Lawler
vs. Renato Sobral) and June 26th (Fedor vs. Werdum) Strikeforce events from this year.

The STRIKEFORCE MMA DVD is presented in 16×9 Widescreen with English 2.0 Stereo.
The total running time is approximately 5 hours 30 minutes.

Picked up the Strikeforce dvd today at FYE, it was $29.99, but I traded in some old BD's & DVD's so it only cost me about $8 out of pocket today. Looking forward to watching these shows again, I hope this is a sign of things to come with Strikeforce releasing dvds. I can never have enough MMA on dvd honestly.
