For UFC 40, the cheapest way to go for a REgion 1 DVD is the Ultimate Collection set. You can normally get it on EBAY for under 40 shipped (mine cost 37 I think shipped just last week.) It comes with UFC 40 (both disc to the set), UFC 43-50 and a disc that has Ultimate KO's 1 & 2.

Re: The Official MMA DVD Discussion Thread (UFC/Pride & Other)
Hi there,
Shacmasta you may know the answer to this (and if anyone else does your comments are certainly welcomed!) - are the UFC 39-46 dvds quite difficult to track down? I see tons of the PAL versions (or whatever they're called) but not so much with Region 1. I am interested to know what UFC DVDs are practically impossible to find...
Cheers

CRAP - I just placed an order on Combat Sports but I see now that the links are not current. They should really delete items which are no longer available.
If anyone knows where I can find 39-42 region 1 new and sealed I am interested.
Cheers

CRAP - I just placed an order on Combat Sports. I found them all through searching UFC on their site. They do not come up under DVDs but I didn't realize this until after I placed the order and just read your message. They should really delete items which are no longer available.

Re: The Official MMA DVD Discussion Thread (UFC/Pride & Other)
Hey all,
Does anyone know of any places selling new copies of the UFC Ultimate Box set beside Sherdog (and Ebay which are all used)? I have looked around, however I have discovered there are lots of MMA sites out there selling UFC dvds and thought someone may have discovered some in recent searches.
Thanks!

The Ult. Tank Abbott dvd is not an official release. The other 2 are original, first few dvd's that were produced by the UFC.

Weird. The designer of them told me it was only made available through some type of UFC infomercial.
Regardless, I don't know why they discontinued the other two. The art is better imo. These must have been similar to some of the early TNA releases (Victory Road, Lockdown and Turning Point) which had different artwork before they got their national distribution deal.

I ordered my first UFC dvds through that infomercial. It was $40 for UFC 40 and 2 separate discs of Ultimate Knockouts 1 and 2. Ultimate Knockouts 2 has exclusvie bonus features that were not on the double feature disc.

Correct me if I'm wrong, Was it Volume 2 with the extra material or Volume 1, I read the description for Volume 1 and it said it had like an hour's worth of extra's like them going over the rules and various other footage.

Re: The Official MMA DVD Discussion Thread (UFC/Pride & Other)
why is Pride Fighting Championship Critical Countdown 2006 Survival not even on bestbuy.com or barnesandnoble.com & ShoXC is available but is immidiately backordered the minute it comes out? Does anyone know if they will release the remaining Bodog Seasons on DVD?

The newest Pride DVD is out. I saw Critical Countdown Absolute (2006) at Best buy for 14.99. They had around 10 copies in.

If you look on bestbuy.com, Critical Countdown 2006 isn't even on the website, it's not on barnesandnoble.com, when you look it up on cduniverse.com, it is in backorder.

Re: The Official MMA DVD Discussion Thread (UFC/Pride & Other)
Does anyone know if UFC Ultimate Knockouts 2 was ever available separately (Region 1) or if it was only available as the 2 pack of 1 and 2?
