I went to Best Buy today and, sure enough, only the Homer head box. I had to go to Costco later on to get some stuff, and they did have the regular box there, so I picked it up for $22.99.

These are $19.99 on Bestbuy.com this week (heads and non-heads have seperate listings, so you shouldnt get the wrong one). They also say they include movie cash. Im going to check my local Best Buy tomorrow, but if that falls through as it sounds like it will, Ill just order online.

They would not immediately do it because the BB flyer did not explicitly state that Season 6 was included, and when they checked the BB website against the SKU, it showed that it was full price (which it was). I kept explaining that the ad said "Seasons 1-8: $19.99", but they just would not accept that rationale as the picture in the flyer didn't SHOW that season set.
They then asked me to go over to BB and get a copy of the flyer, (they did not care for the COLOR printout I had from the website). I said no, that I didn't have the time, and if they couldn't PM, then to forget it. Finally, they veeeeery grudgingly made a special exception, just to get rid of me. I hate being "that guy", and I won't be rushing back there any time soon.
They seem to operate from the mindset of "what can we possibly do to deny this price match?", instead of erring on the side of making the customer happy, and allowing sanity to prevail.

I managed a successful pricematch at CC Tuesday, but it was a hassle. I had the ad, but they insisted on calling Best Buy (they never really explained why...when I said, "Look, seasons 1-8", I just got some kind of a grumble). They were on hold with BB for a good 20 minutes, and then finally gave it to me. If I had known about that Walmart deal, I wouldnt have bothered with CC, but $19.74 total plus movie ticket isnt bad.
