No way can this be better than the "Heroes Of World Class Championship Wrestling" DVD.
I picked this up at a Ring of Honor show a few weeks ago and loved it even though the ending was of course fucked up (whenever I fake spoil a movie for someone I just say "they all die in the end", sad that it pretty much came true here). Throughout though I was curious as to the take of guys like Michael Hayes, Ric Flair, and Jerry Lawler so I'm wondering how the WWE release will be. I know they will have Kevin in there as well so that side will be covered as well.

And maybe, just maybe, they will finally reveal exactly what happened the night that Iceman Parsons won the title when the lights went out and Hayes was busted wide open and lying underneath a table. They NEVER explained that and it bothers me to this day. Bastards.

They used to sell it on wrestlingobserver.com store, I've seen it on ebay as well, though there aren't any right now. I *think* it was the same dvd packed with the Wrestlemania book shrinkwrapped with it in a cardboard sleeve. Don't hold me to that, but I'm 80% sure that's what it was.

We won't have bonus disc info until tomorrow when people can actually go and getit.

Actually there are inconsistencies in your list. Try researching and revising it before sharing.

Yes, I have it. It comes with a 3rd dvd attached on the back of the case in a sleeve type protector. The 3rd dvd is just a history of mania dvd that highlights the past manias. I can get a picture posted tomorrow if needed.

I bought mine (Daewoo 5800) years ago for $90. I know there are players you can get at Walmart or Best Buy that will convert PAL to NTSC for as low as $30. You may have to do a firmware upgrade or something to get it to read other regions. Doubt it if I'm allowed to mention other details here.

Check the International section of DVD Talk and also do a Google search for more info.

But a region free player is the way to go. I don't know if they're still available, but I got about a dozen ECW DVDs from amazon.co.uk that were never released here in the States. It was worth it just for that!

So I finally broke down and bought the Royal Rumble Anthology this weekend. Opened it up and got TWO film cells. Did I get lucky or do all the packages have two cells?

Excellent packaging by the way.

Well, it looks like I'm down to needing about four DVD's to complete my collection. I was holding off on the Trish DVD in hopes of finding the FYE exclusive. No luck yet, i may just buy the original for now, and keep the search going.

I'm also in need of 3 from the Attitude collection, Aust vs. McMahon, Eve of Destruction, and Best of Raw, Vol 1.

Best of 2001 and The Videos Vol. 1, Ramped up are both on their way

Speaking about the UK/european dvds i must tell you that you can play them without a problem if you have an LG brand TV and dvd player.

I saw the FYE one at the mall on Friday. I had never seen it before. If you really want it, perhaps I could get it for you if you pay me back? I don't know how rare it is, but let me know if that helps.

Those who discussed the deletion of the previous WWE DVD release thread (the ramblings at page one of this thread), maybe you can check this out.. it wasnt deleted nor locked.

http://forum.dvdtalk.com/showthread....3&page=1&pp=25

Unfortunately the one who created it happens to be the same dude who voices out his dismay and deleted the previous thread.
