Nope. I know from experience. FYE had it advertised on the web as having a bonus disc, so I ordered it...No dice. Take it back and buy it from a FYE store, still no bonus disc. I assume they got there advertising info mixed up with the Vengeance 2006 DVD and/or ECW:ONS DVD which both had bonus discs. I have yet to read or hear about the backlash bonus dvd, so I think my explanation fits or until someone shows up with a pic of said backlash '06 bonus....wouldn't be the first time I was proved wrong.

I got mine used, but it came with a Topps Heritage Joey Styles card. Not sure if that came with all of them, or just a certain store or what.

There needs to be a website where all this information can be accumulated. Have a page on each release.

I would gladly start a website and host it on my server, if I can get a couple of volunteers.

I have a database program, that was designed for this idea, just waiting to be used.

I'm in with whatever I can do to help. So we don't hijack this, contact me via my e-mail. I've had this idea for a long time and I have been keeping that spreadsheet updated that I uploaded before that is a good base for a lot of the information.

Xage, you have been a longtime contributor to the thread, so please stop it there. The same goes to ThomaMon.

Now, back to our schedule programing.

I agree with you dx23, from the posts I amde about HBK Vault DVD, its just that other memebrs try to be so knowledgable yet do not even know what a lenticular is.

Anyways, here they go again.. slowly inserting a discussion that somehow is connected to web development and marketing rather than "in topic" to the thread you createdl.

Thats cool.. so does it mean that you have actual photos to back it up?
I mean if you have ideas like that atleast be credible enough to have supporting "actual photos" or "actual scanned images"

Sounds good but sounded like youre in the 95% (from thomamon's unknown percentage of wrestling dvd collectors)

That would be great! until you sort things up with the databse of your collection whose photos were just plain amaray dvd cases.

... But seriously.. could we just go back to topic please??

Anyways.. I tried contacting FYE, Suncoast, Samgoodies,Wherehouse and even Secondspin in my area .. however all of them were dumbfounded by their AD on Wrestlemania 23..

If anyone here can correct me about this (for now) an AD mistake.

What are the bubbles next to the dvd's advertising? I can read everything Besides the trucker hat, which i heard was advertised by f.y.e when you pre-ordered wm 23.

Also, Did anyone buy and get said trucker hat. Did it come packed together w/wm23 or giving to you at checkout?

Does anyone have a list typed of every wwf/e dvd released in the USA as of this week? I'm trying to put together a list of all the ones I am missing from my collection, so any help is appreciated.

FYI The Best Buy in my area is now sold out of the Exclusive WM23 UE tin set with the cards. They still had plenty of sets but only one with the sticker, make sure the tin you purchase has the tin because some Blue Shirt tried to convince me they all had the cards in them...Also for anyone (like myself) who collects WWE cards, the cards that come with the BB exclusive are OVERSIZED cards and not normal size. I was a bit ticked off about this but they are still decent...

If you go back a few pages, someone posted an excellent excel spreadsheet with a checklist of every release.

I purchased my UE Wrestlemania tin at FYE.... the guy said that there was no promotional item with it. I was a bit disappointed because I mentioned the hat and he said that it is a misprint. He is a big wrestling fan and said that the last promo item FYE had was the Ric Flair poster for the 4 Horsemen release.

Just wanted to get some people's opinions. I came acrss some used WWF/WWE DVDs like Hardy Boyz Leap of Faith, Lita Just Feels Right, and Triple H DVD. They were used and had some light scratches and no inserts, but original cases were in good shape. They were $9 plus tax. Are they worth picking up even though they do not have inserts? How important are the inserts and should that be a reason not to buy them? THANKS.

It depends. We all do this for our own reasons to our own ends. Some people want everything ever released no matter what and buy 5 Wrestlemanias. Some people just care about getting all the matches and an insert, though preferred, isn't going to make or break whether they get it. Some people, like myself, are ok having Koch versions of the 3 hard to find PPVs in order to spend $25 instead of $100 on them. It's up to you to decide what you're collecting for.

Just in terms of the releases, they are decent releases. The documentaries aren't nearly as good as they are now, especially the Lita one, but she was still really hot back then so it's excused. The bonus matches on the Hardys disc are worth it because they have the unaltered logos. Some of those matches this is the only unblurred release that will ever come out. The Lita disc's matches are ok, The HHH matches are passable just because the 2 best have already been released, but the documentary is ok.

For what it's worth, I could not find any UE tin sets with the cards on Ebay, that is usually a sign it is going to be very tough to find on the secondary market. Be careful if you use the Best Buy web site, they only show the standard UE tin set and not the BB exclusive one....
