FYI the local Best Buy in my area still had one copy of Saw with the blood pack. I thought this edition was OOP by now...

The distributor he got the set from just took all the seperate sets and housed them together. Like I said every item in the set was 100% authentic....
Still think it's not very nice from the part of the seller. I could also take, say, Lord of the Rings trilogy, make super box for it and sell as one taking $100 for it. He still should have mentioned all the details.

You're right, there were no such a problem with TCM. And here I think I will be taking both widescreen and fullscreen versions. "All editions" means ALL editions

I know, but these damn Steelbooks are tough to find, especially the regions other than region 1. I just got a deal with a great source from Canada to get just about any steelbook I want.....

Wow, that looks really great! Thanks for the info! You know from what I see on the back of the cover it's a Dutch release. There's this pretty website www.chainsawvideo.nl (maybe you know but just in case) and a guy working there (his name is Han) always helped me finding Dutch stuff that's not in stock on the site. Maybe this will be of a little help. I'll have to grab these cuties!

There were some not found on the list for R1 releases you have there giggles.

I noticed that in Canada, the SAW films were manufactured by Lions Gate, Maple Pictures and Christal Films

Will post the R1 DVDs that I found

You're one maniac, Xage I'll now take my time to figure out which ones are on my list and which aren't. Guess I'll definately have questions to you about different exclusives found on the pictures.
Anyway, many thanks - those pictures are eye candy.

So here’re some questions, Xage:

The first picture – what are those uncut editions below? As I get it one is US, another Canadian, and what is the third one – with a red-lettered title?

The second picture – what’s the difference between four similar looking editions on the left? And bottom-right release – is it really a two-feature?

The third picture, Saw III – the most complex one – apart from a rental only cover, what’s the difference between five similar releases (except that they’re full screen-widescreen)? And why two exclusive editions are different?

One more question – I see that BestBuy Punisher exclusive has a Saw preview disc. So what’s that individual Saw disc with a black cover?

With your help I hope I can clarify everything for myself.

Sorry late response, I will post a revised list of what I aquired which will answer all your questions.

Actually ever since you posted those list you gathered, I never thought that SAW trilogy (for now) is the most dipped DVD in Region 1 format and every now and then I discover new ones.

I'm loving the fact that I have a (USA) R1 Saw 2 release that hasn't been pictured yet!

No clues! You guys have to find it yourselves. "King of All Redundant Buying" moniker to whoever (of the two of you) acquires it first. Honorable Mention if you identify it via picture, but aren't able to purchase a copy.

Good shopping!!

Why am I reminded of that Seinfeld episode where Jerry's girlfriend dips "something" of his in the toilet, and he ends up throwing away everything he owns?

It's not fair to tease the obsesives.
