i thought most of the futureshop cases were just that...you buy a copy of the regular dvd and they give you a steelbook

i think the biggest bonus for this release is the movie itself. one of the best of the past 10 years!

nope. the TCM documentary Scorsese on Scorsese did not turn up as anticipated. its a shame since all of his WB work is out in the box set, so this would be the last chance to release it without a double dip down the road. hopefully it will turn up as a retailer exclusive

It's 86 minutes long. I doubt they would hide something like that as an egg.

The extra disc doesn't seem worth spending the extra $10 or so. I may just pick up the single disc release for this one.

Well deserved nominations today for Best picture and director.

I'm sure he would have done one, but Warner just doesn't seem interested in doing them anymore. Look at the last several Warner special editions, no commentaries to be found.

will the 2-disc special edition come on the HD-DVD version as well?
