The shot of Matt Damon's uniform shirt is dramatic. For the others....the difference is negligible.

Mind you this is at 1/3rd the "true" resolution of HD DVD and the difference is much bigger unless the picture on the site is the actual size of what your TV might be. (In my case, the picture is about 7" big and way smaller than what my TV would be when I'm looking at it).

Sorry - I'm not sold on HD quality on this basis - whilst the CLARITY is nice - I would like the picture to be a little 'smoother' !! (gee - I'm expecting a backlash now !!)

I can't yet see how Average Joe and Average Mum and Dad are going to be 'sold' on HD quality just yet - its nice..... but prices have to fall substaintally to get the sales.

I just compared my DVD to the screen caps and mine look slightly better.... somewhere between the caps of the DVD and the HD DVD. Maybe it's what they used to do the caps but I knew the DVD didn't look that blurry.

No, but I'd like to see Vera Farmiga in the best resolution possible.

Yeah, those "standard" DVD shots look a tad bit blurry.

I love the shots - is there a website that is dedicated to just posting screen shots? I'm looking to build on my Slideshow Screensaver to entertain the troops in the Cubicles at work.

Now I understand what Carrie Fisher's been wining about with HD!
