Do you know how many people you just pissed off with your post?

P.S. took me about two weeks too.

Called again today, tripled-checked the address and got a 3rd set sent out. They seemed a little hazy on whether the 2nd one was ever sent out. So, here's hoping the 3rd times a charm. The woman I spoke to said she'd personally put one in the mail today for me, but that could be just sales-speak to make me feel better. I did inquire if there were any options available for alternate shipping like using tracking or another shipper, but no such luck. So, I guess I'm back to the waiting game.... 10 plus weeks and counting....

I just called in for a third time and the wait was just one minute, thank goodness! They have my correct address and are shipping AGAIN. I believe a turtle (when I first called in in December) could have carried my envelopes on its back from Los Angeles to Sacramento (400 miles) and been here by now. I would have even tipped the turtle for a job well done.

I called and got my third set of envelopes sent today too. I had them check the address three times and I guess we will see whether or not I get it this time. It's strange the variety of service different people are getting around here.

Hey, at least they are pleasant and polite. Incompetent and mean is a bad combination.

Finally called back today after my initial request for the mailers on Jan. 22nd. She couldn't find me listed by my zip code, but she did find me by my last name. She said that the mailers had been returned due to a delivery problem, since they had entered the zip code wrong

She did agree to send the replacement discs AND the mailers together, and to send them out that day. We'll see ...

Keep the faith guys. My corrected disks finally arrived today, two and a half months after I first called.

I think there is one moron in particular who is the culprit of all the problems. I spoke to her once before and made sure to repeat the address to her. I call her again on Friday and she has it wrong. I made her repeat the address five times. HAHAHA.

Don't want to give you false hope, but often it's who you talk to rather than whether they say they've got the right address. Some so-called "Customer Service" reps can be not only clueless, but don't really give a shit, and as someone else has already pointed out, that's bad news for anyone who needs to make sure something gets done. It's usually as easy as hanging up and calling right back to get a different CSR, so if you've finally got someone who realizes what they're there for, you should finally get your discs.

Good luck!

I finally got my replacement discs in the mail yesterday. I also think there's gonna be an extra set of replacment discs coming since I called last week and had them re-shipped to me. I'll let you guys know when I get them and see if anyone's interested.

Why oh why can't they do exchange programs online? That's a helluva lot more accurate than via phone.

In Canada they offered a kinda online thing, just email them your address and the envelopes were sent. But yeah I agree, if it was online it would be way easier and less room for error.

I just bought this set yesterday and the LAST disc was loose and scratched horribly. I watched it to see what kind of damage was done and thankkfully only one of the Blogs was affected (#10 wouldn't play halfway through). I am tempted to just resign to the fact this disc is scratched instead of getting a replacement. My fear is the CS people will confuse my request for Supe 1 and Supe 3. After reading people's responses I don't even know if I can depart with 3 discs out of this set at a time.

I just checked my Disc 1 and also Superman III and both seem to be the proper release for the set. That's a MAJOR relief at least. So does that mean they are issuing the Ultimate set with corrected discs now?

They're still hard to find here in Canada, I guess they will be coming out again since it should bring in a lot of $$ for Warner

I tried the phone number a couple of times today, and kept getting a response that all circuits were busy and to hang up and try again. I guess its better then being on hold for 40 minutes like I did 2 weeks ago.

I also agree that an email option would have been better, or at least an address to send the disc, like the option with the Jurassic Park error awhile ago.

People are paying HUGE bucks for the replacement discs? WTF is wrong with those people!

http://cgi.ebay.com/SUPERMAN-Ultimat...em300085069953

For those that have extras, maybe you can get some good coin for 'em too!?
