From: The lonely depths of my mind
I sent out for the posters back in May and didn't get anything by August. I wrote someone I know at WB and they said that their supervisor told them that the company that makes the posters got so many responses to the poster offer that they ran out. They said they're making more, though they don't know when people will get the posters.

I spoke to someone at the WB customer service (1-866-488-4640) and they actually checked into it and called me back! Woah!

They advised that they have a pretty good backlog of people waiting for posters (couldn't tell me how many) and that when they ask about a status, they are just told "Soon." She couldn't give me a date or anything but "Soon." She did say that the promotion is not being cancelled and everyone will get their posters but they will not cash your check until they are shipping them out. She said that anyone who wants to cancel their order can call them and they can return your check.

I'm moving by October 31st, 2007. I sent the poster request and check mid-june. That's four months before receiving the posters. Hopefully I'll get them before moving, otherwise I'm not sure what I could do about it. When you forward mail do packages get forwarded too?

Yeah, your packages should be forwarded as well. You may want to call the 800# I posted above and they can likely find your order and change it to your new address if you haven't received them by the time you move. They were very nice and helpful when I spoke to them.

Thanks for the tip! I'll give 'em a call on Monday.

Got my posters in today via priority mail. Awesome. Full size and they obviously haven't been rolled very long as they laid flat out when I unpackaged them.

I wish they offered a replacement tin. I thought about calling and asking. But I know they will probably laugh. I bought this set from BarnesandNoble.com back when it originally came out and they sent me one that had a couple dents in it. I emailed them about it and they said they could send me another one but they would have to charge me first and then when they received the other one they would refund me. Just sounded like to much bull to have to deal with. I now wish I would have done it. I have never bought anything else from them.

That's how most places handle exchanges online IIRC.

I understand that. I wonder if Warner would offer some type of exchange on the tin? The set is perfect. Its only the tin itself. Also, can I just print out the online order# form to use as my receipt? I've lost the original receipt. Thanks

I ordered from there also, and before I opened it, I called the B&M of BN and special ordered the set, then when it came in, i just exchanged the one I got form bn.com for the other at the store. So, you might try that, might be harder with the discs open, but they might be open to doing an straigth exchange even w/ the item open.

also, got my posters yesterday in the mail as well.
