At any rate, I always knew that you were a guy after my own heart when it comes to movies.

Yeah....I knew you would already be aware of them.

I've always thought of you as a dvdtalk member I could trust.

Dang, I think I have that movie... but can't remember the title. Is it one of the "Entrails...." movies or maybe Tokyo Psycho?

You're in the right ballpark, it is indeed a low budget Japanese horror/exploitation film, but I guessed and gut confirmed that it is one of the ALL NIGHT LONG films. I'm not sure which one though, I'm thinking part one or two. Haven't watched the damn films in 7 or 8 years.

i always figured with all the controversy (shit eating) and rumors (facets, white ring) surrounding the dvd release that this movie never existed in the first place, and was just a figment of a dvd collectors imagination. i'll probably buy it at the next ddd %20 off sale if the price is right.

So which DVD will take the place of Salo as the "(Un)Holy Grail" of DVD collectors?

Little Shop of Horrors: Special Edition (Original Version) was going for quite a bit years ago. But I dont keep up on these things.

Does Criterion renumber the dvds they remaster or do they have the same spine numbers as the original?

The spine number stays the same as the original release.

Thanks for the link, that's the one. When I first saw it (the footage in the camcorder), I immediately thought of SALO.
