I don't know why there is all this hate for the flesh-like slip-cover. It's not supposed to feel like the skin on your face. It's supposed to feel like the skin that has been ripped off of your face. Peeled-off skin feels completely different and this cover feels just like it!

Trust me. Pull off part of your own face and then compare the two.

He's right. They do feel completely different. Thanks for the advise, Peep.

We're not saying it doesn't feel like it should. It's obvious they were trying to make it feel like flesh....they just didn't do a very good job--that's why there's all the hate. They could've done so much better.

"Creepy flesh-like cover"

I saw the cover today, and I think its pretty cool.

I'm giving this movie a second chance, and rented it through Netflix. I hated it when I saw it in theaters, but I had to put up with the fact that really misframed the movie (I had to complain twice) and a group of teenagers yelled anytime someone cursed.

Also at Wal-Mart they have this in a two pack with the two disc edition of the remake for $20.

I love the original film and i'm even a fan of the wildly uneven follow-ups in the series. I thought this delivered in spades. Part two is a black comedy B movie classic, and I even enjoyed the Nispel remake, but this one was just brutal, unapologetic and very well crafted. My second favorite in the series.

Is the free movie ticket a Best Buy exclusive? I assumed it was included at all retailers?

Same thing happened when I watched it at the same exact spot.

I was disappointed in it. Just seemed like a story with a bunch of stuff happening.

And it had people in it that moved about? Sounds like every movie ever created.

I think it was like 5 mins total. The gore isnt much but its there. Also the scene w/ the Bikers attacking/tormenting the 4 in the jeep seemed new or i just forgot about it since theatres.

Yeah, the first biker scene was new. I think I spotted like 1 other scene as well.

Snow cleared up enough, and finally got my hands on this (and Leatherface on the same receipt). Slipcover didn't disappoint. Not sure I would call it fleshy, just kind of rough. But a nice touch. And cool to have one with differing artwork from the case within.

Yes that is indeed where the layer change occurs.
