I'll also stick with the MGM version. With extreme exceptions, I'm not supporting double dips from non-HD supporting studios.

Seeing that it is a Sony/MGM title, only expect it on Blu Ray.

That's like saying every movie that comes out in both Full Screen and Widescreen versions is a double dip, since the covers have a different colored bar at the top.

Changing the cover and nothing else does not constitute another dip. Sorry.

I agree.

Same Content additional dip

Yeah. That's like saying that there haven't been that many Evil Dead dips because just changing the cover doesn't constitute another dip. A dip = an additional release of a title after the initial release. Therefore there has now been 4 Usual Suspect dips.

Hopefully this still shows up Tuesday -- no cover art makes me kinda skeptical.

By the way, even if it's the same transfer, don't forget the MGM DVD has the full-screen version taking up space on the film side of the disc, so this still may end up looking better than the existing DVD.

Amazon still shows no cover art and says it ships in 4-6 weeks, despite listing the (supposedly) correct 11/28 release date.

That's usually a sign that the disc didn't come out as planned. Has anyone found this live in stores this morning?

Already own this, but I guess if there's new commentaries (would like one with Spacey), and improved audio/video, I'll double dip.

I no longer have my old copy on DVD, so I'll double dip.

slop reminds me that I also need to pick up The State DVD when that gets released, too.

I've been holding off on this for the eventual re-release, so I'll be looking to pick it up as well.
