To JackBurton and TomOpus: guys, the more you react on such posts the more discussed it will be. Ignoring is the best way for these forums to stay away from instigators like this one.

Back in stock at Amazon

Saw this last night and immediately ordered up my copy... not sure why it's back in stock, if this means it's back in print... but regardless, I wouldn't wait too long:

woah - thanks for that, kombucha. I originally bought this tin last christmas, but when it had arrived it had taken a hell of a beating in the post, and replacements were simply not available. I had given up hope of getting one, so this is great stuff - thank you very much.

Someone posted that in the bargains forum about 10 days ago. Seems about half the people that have received theirs have noticed dents (some minor, some major) while others are fine. These might be unopened returned sets that just got processed back into the system.

Also, be sure to give FYE a call, if they're in your area. I found a mint one when visiting Portland, OR recently. It was on sale for $32.99.

From http://bluray.highdefdigest.com/news/:

Tartan Video has issued a new street date and a complete list of specs for its debut US Blu-ray release, 'Oldboy.'

As first announced last month, 'Oldboy' was set to kick-off the indie distributor's support of high-def with an exclusive Blu-ray release on October 23.

Now the company has released further details for the title, which include a new street date of November 6, plus an extensive set of supplements for the planned Blu-ray and DVD two-disc set.

The first BD-50 Blu-ray disc will contain the unrated version of the feature film in 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 video, with Korean DTS-HD Lossless Master Audio 5.1 Surround and Dolby EX 5.1 Surround tracks (an optional English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround dub will also be provided).

Extras on that first disc are set include than three audio commentaries with the director, the cast, and members of the technical crew, plus deleted scenes (with optional director commentary) and the original theatrical trailer.

The second disc -- a standard-def DVD -- will include a five-part making-of documentary, six additional featurettes, interviews with the cast and crew, and trailers for other Tartan titles.

Tartan has set a $34.95 list price for the release.

So DVD completists will be "forced" to buy the Blu-Ray release just to get the second (standard def) disc of extras?

I think that second regular DVD is content that's already in the 3 disc tin, but I could be wrong.

So the 3rd Disc (the documentary) from the Ultimate Set won't be on the Blu-Ray?
