I just scooped up all the seasons at BB for $9.99 each, but I'm sure this will have some exclusive content to tempt me.

for a MSRP of 200 hundred bucks there better be something 'exclusive'

I need to watch this show. From the previews on Universal DVD's I might like it. For the people that bought each season for 10 bucks, nothing on this set is $140 more to pay exclusive.

I just bought the set that had S1/S2 for $10, thansk to an oversight at CC. I might jump on this one though, if I can get it for the right price.

Incredibly doubtful. From what I read at tvshowsondvd.com this sounds like their just putting the existing Disc's in new packaging and maybe adding a disc of additional promos/deleted scenes...

Maybe they'll house the set in a full-size coat, instead of pieces of a coat covering the single season sets.

I loved this series when it was originally on. The music replacement bugs me. Wasn't this a case where they had to go back and dub the actor's voices because they didn't keep separate music tracks? Or maybe they just couldn't be bothered?

Also, how/why was Universal able to issue Miami Vice with all music intact (from what I hear) but make changes with this show? I'm looking for something other than just "money" as a reason here, but maybe there isn't anything else.

Sex and The City has tons of original music that was carried over to DVD as well......

Last week at Best Buy, they had a bunch of older titles for either 3.99, 6.99, or 9.99. In the flyer, the only two NE sets for 9.99 were the first two, but in the stores, some of them had all seasons shelf tagged at 9.99. It was sort of YMMV on seasons 3-6 I guess.
It was fully talked about in the BB thread that week. You really can not miss any of those threads without risking missing a deal like this.

UGG! I thought it was just seasons 1 & 2... I so would have grabbed up seasons 5 and 6 (the ones I don't have) if I had known about this... OH well...

You might not have missed out, it was YMMV on seasons 3-6. I got a couple, and others did too, but some stores were normal priced on 3-6.

26 single sided discs
What a step backwards! They're probably still made in Mexico too, so might still be defective.

While I'm not TOO thrilled on the price, single sided discs does sound nice (I HATE flippers).

It's not exactly cheap now is it? Especially when you compare it to Angel, which had roughly the same amount of episodes, yet there is a $60 price difference...
