According to the "Recently discovered OOP films" thread, the 2-disc version is OOP already.

I saw several Akira Tins on sale months after they came out. Best Buy even put them on sale. I only saw the Jarheads at one Best Buy opening week though and I never even saw the Munich ones. I've only found the United 93 ones at one BB last week as well.

Dang, well even after chatting with Overstock 2 days ago and being reassured that the copy I ordered on 9/5 was definitely available and would be shipped, I get a notice today that stated, "We regret to inform you that due to an inventory error we were unable to ship the item listed below." I am a little annoyed as I felt reassured by speaking with a rep that they had them in and my order had already been processed for shipping, so I didn't order from another online source like I should have. Oh well, I guess the 1-disk will have to do as I refuse to pay an inflated price for it from someone who bought up extras for the sole purpose of scamming people. Hope everyone else who ordered online was more successful. Living in a little town definitely has its cons. :-!

Get back in chat and at least demand a $5 off coupon to be added to your account. Every single time I have a problem with Overstock I do just that, and they always give in for me.

My Circuit City 2-disc arrived this afternoon. By far the best movie I have seen this year.

Barnes & Noble.com again has copies of the 2-disc in stock currently.

I remember someone saying Wal-Mart had their own bonus Disc packaged with the single version. Was that true?

Yes. It was packaged with a movie called The Guys with Sigourney Weaver and Anthony LaPaglia. It's about a fire captain who loses eight guys in the World Trade Center collapse and the editor who helps him prepare the eulogies.

Picked up one at Best Buy today. It's not that hard to find. They had at least 10 of them.

I saw one at my local Best Buy today, but the packaging was destroyed.

I also got my cancellation email from Overstock.com. Good thing I ordered one from Target.

That's not exclusive content though. You can still buy that movie anywhere else. So I would call it more of a 2 pack then a bonus disc.

Oh, I pre-ordered it from CC when others first mentioned it started to disappear from online inventories. I should've mentioned that. My bad.

To those who cannot locate the 2-disc dvd, disc 1 of 2 is exactly the same disc as the 1-disc dvd. If you want all the extras the LE is the way to go. If you don't care, why pay $25 to $100 for a bonus disc with extras and different packaging. The 1 disc dvd isn't so bad.

The contents of the two releases has been pretty well established, so I doubt people who don't care about extras are participating in this thread.

Picked mine up at Best Buy today.

If anyone around the southern Denver Metro area is interested I got it at the BB near the Park Meadows Mall. There were still a few left this afternoon!

I also noticed they had quite a few of the last wave of Walt Disney Treasures as well. (Tomorrowland, Chron. Donald V.1, Mickey in B&W V. 2, The War Years) From what I can recall.

Okay. Thanks for the info.

I found a copy of the Limited Edition at Best Buy today. They must have cleared out a box in the back because it wasn't there on Sunday.

Hmmm, it seems that Amazon.com took the limited edition off it's site. I wonder why?

I was actually checking the progress of the one I had up for sale, and saw it was taken down completely. Ebay seems to have TONS for sale.
