Its worse than that. I got my shipping email Saturday and it says the UPS actually carries it from wherever BB ships it to your local USPS office and then the USPS delivers it to your home. I probably should have waited and picked it up myself at the local BB.

Actually he's some kind of Grand Vizor who advises the king. He's also the over zealous religious leader.

The 19th is almost here. I hope a local BB has this tomorrow. I'm sure they won't get but a handful...

The ad says 6 per store, no raincheks. Mine is in NJ and in the hands of UPS in envelope until they give it to my local USPS for delivery.

The ad says a MINIMUM of six per store. As with all Best Buy exclusives I've seen, I bet they will have plenty of copies.

Living in the UK, I asked a pal in the US to preorder it for me way back in August, and the thing still hasn't shipped - and now it's gone from "pre-order" to "backordered 1-2 weeks"

WTF are best Buy playing at?

It's dreadful to take stuff away from folks who preordered just to fill the stores.

Just picked it up from BB...FYI: There's a Battlestar Gallactica bonus disc included in this set..."Battlestar Gallactica: The Story So Far" 1.78:1 anamorphic... it's in a white CD envelope placed inside.

I just picked mine up during lunch. They probably had at least 20-30 copies.

That sounds like an error at the Universal packing facility to me.

I got this set today and there was no "BG: Story So Far" disc. However, that disc *was* included in the BG 2.5 set that also comes out today.

No error, but it is odd. It was online, you also get it in copies of Roar that came out today.

It definitely not an error, there's a sticker on the package telling you the bonus disc is inside.

Since I don't watch the show, I threw it away.

It still could be a packaging error by Universal... mine had a sticker outside too, but really when I think about it, it makes no sense to include it in this set. I think bboisvert is right.

I grabbed BSG 2.5 at lunch from BB today, and I saw that both sets have the bonus disc, though there were some Classic SciFi sets that didn't have the sticker.

And I'd grab that out of the trash if I were you, some of the bonus discs get kinda valuable on ebay after a few months.

Really? Hmmmm... I wish my set had included that. I probably would have looked for a better deal on the BG 2.5 set instead of buying from Best Buy. I ended up getting both sets there.

No, it was advertised online, it's not an error. It is basically an advertisment for BSG, I think it makes just as much sense in anything besides season 2.5. I think people who are buying 2.5 probably already know "the story so far".

Like many of you, the initial shots of the cover art didn't exactly thrill me. But after picking this up today, I have to say this is one very handsome set! Well done!

mine had the bonus disc, but I'll probably just put it up in the trade forum...

I picked up mine at my Best Buy at break from work. Glad there were still copies of them no bonus disc on mine but I'm not complaining just happy I have the set in my hand.

Hadn't really planned on buying this, but I was in BB on my lunch break and there were only two copies left... Impulse puchase, ahoy! That Universal didn't use DVD-18s was actually a strong selling point, too. Nice set (and mine came with the bonus disc).
