Looking for Great DTS DVD

We have some friends coming over early next week to hear our sixth speaker. I am looking for a DVD that has a great DTS track. They would prefer something from the action/adventure genre that is a fairly recent release. Thank you your input. Dan.

War of the Worlds (2005) would be the best choice.

Try searching for "DTS*".

Yeah, I should've mentioned using the wildcard but it didn't really bring up what I was looking for and it doesn't bring up anything if you search titles only.

Maybe we should globally change "dts" to "dtss" j/k!

Pearl Harbor's DTS track during the big attack sequence is not too shabby at all. Movie is crap but I keep it around just to show off the home theater surround.

Thanks for the responses; please keep them coming.
hardercore--The Incredibles features a 5.1 EX sound track. Will this utilize our rear speaker?

Try some of the ( FullBit 1509kbps) DTS titles. Do note some are Out-Of-Print and hard to find & very expensive. Others can be optained very cheap.

Apollo 13
Antz
Born on the Fourth of July
DragonHeart
Dante's Peak
Daylight
Galaxy Quest
Mouse Hunt
Paulie
Prince of Egypt
Small Soldiers
Twister
Waterworld

You're trying to utilize your 6th speaker? You do realize that DTS comes standard as 5.1 right? Are you just looking for 6.1 DTS-ES?

Whether 5.1 or 6.1, the DTS track on Jurassic Park is phenomenal! You can always force it into 6.1 if you really want that 6th speaker.

Hello,

The best soundtrack mix (DTS) IMHO of 1043 titles that I own is,

House Of Flying Daggers: Special Edition
(Region 3 / HK Release) (DD EX / DTS6.1 ES) (Full Bitrate)

Regards,
