Question:

Does the boxed set contain the two-disc Mission: Impossible II & III films?

Legolas, the 2-Disc S.E. (the first film is also offered in its Special Collector's Edition incarnation in the boxed set).

This is likely a YMMV, but my local Walmart had a big flyer posted saying they would be selling MI3 on the 29th at 6:00 pm. It had a picture of the MI3 display rack. Not sure if the HD DVD or BD will be there at that time.

I work for Anderson News and saw the MI:III pallet display in the receiving area of a Wal-Mart with a sign on it put there by the Anderson Merchandiser to put the display on the floor Sunday at 6pm.

The local video store I purchase from received their shipment last week and enclosed with the DVDs was instructions to display it a 6pm on Sunday evening, so I am certain that everyone received the same instructions with their shipment. Most likely see many vendors selling this Sunday evening.

I did as well. Just finished watching it. Was not thrilled with picture quality. It reminded me of Spider-Man 2's transfer.

Sounds great but was disapointed that there was no dts soundtrack.

I rented the movie and I'd say it had one of the best video transfer of the year. It was really sharp and the colors were vibrant.

So some shops are already putting this out for sale and rent, kinda strange since I am so used to DVDs coming out on Tuesday. I will buy this but will go for the 2-disc set, any chance of Wal-Mart carrying it by chance?

I was also wondering if Wal-Mart would carry the 2-disc set?
