New review up at 10,000 Bullets! I'm beginning to feel much more psyched for this release now. Look at this:
"..this is the best looking 16mm restoration that I have ever seen."
And they actually talk about the new documentary:
"..brand new documentary titled “Flesh Wounds: 7 Stories of the Saw” which runs about seventy two minutes in length...and [includes] tributes for Paul Partine, Robert Burns, and Jim Siedow."
Wow. With The Shocking Truth already being a 73 minute comprehensive doc on the whole series, adding this new 72 minute doc centering completely on the original makes this release from Dark Sky sound like a winner. Can't wait.

Anyone complaining about ANOTHER special edition should actually read this whole thread. This is only the SECOND real release of TCM. All the others were just re-issues of the Pioneer disc.

Wow, those screencaps look amazing. Light years ahead of that old Pioneer disc. I'm so glad that one of my top 5 films is finally getting the exact treatment it deserves. I only hope Dark Sky does as good a job on the upcoming Devil's Rain: SE.
