I keep seeing this set at Costco and am tempted to pick it up, but the scratches/fingerprints complaints worry me.

My sister got a copy of the set and most of hers had scratches and fingerprints on them.

I already had season 1 & 2, so I decided to pick up the other 3 by themselves (a little more then $60 using the b&n deal) as I really did not want all my discs to be messed up.

I finally finished my set and while they are really marked up I didn't see any problems w/ playback.

Are the folks packaging this eating lunch at the same time? And nobody bothered to think that this stiff cardboard packaging with the hard seams would be no problem?
UGH! What a pain in the ass. Now I have to find something to put the DVDs in when I get them back.
So you had to send them all back? When I played one of my season 3 discs (with Vaughn on the disc), it looked in good shape (minor scratch and finger smudge), but didn't play that way.

So am I just better of going to the store and swapping them or go through the hassle of BVTV CSR? Maybe even put it through my scratch repair kit?
