I got mine today at Future Shop, without any problems. The bonus disk is packaged with it. I'm going to watch it in a bit.

I don't have the set to verify, but it could just be your receiver taking a moment to switch from one type of audio input to another. My receiver does the same thing when switching from 2.0 surround to 5.1.

I just tested both audio tracks, and there is no sound during the same portions on either. It's the part where the announcer would say "Previously on Lost..." or whatever.

I didn't get there first thing but the one I went to only had a few and they were tucked back behind all the other ones on the shelves. I guess someone was having fun w/ the customers

Just picked up mine at Target. When I got there, the space where they were was empty. Just as I was about to find someone, an employee came walking up with an armful and handed one to me. $37.99 - $5 GC = $32.99. Not too shabby.

A bit of advice for those going to Target. Before you hit the cashier, grab a blank GC because, when it rings up, the cashier will tell ya to get one anyways. It might save ya a bit of looking around if that cashier is out of 'em.

Besides the recap episode, how much 'exclusive' content is on the Best Buy bonus disc? How long are the on-location pieces or delete scenes?

The total time of the bonus disc is 56 minutes. Subtract about 42 minutes for the recap episode, and you're left with less than 15 minutes of on-locaton pieces and deleted scenes.

The sound is working fine on my disks...although my reciever does take a second or so to lock onto the signal so part of the "Preiviously on Lost" gets cut off but if I rewind it I can hear it just fine on all the episodes of the first disc

Bonus disc was sold out in the normal DVD 'release week' area. Walked around the store and found a 'Lost' display. Had about 30-40 copies...and low and behold 2-3 had the Bonus disc. Score!

I haven't had any problems with the audio. I just watched the first two episodes. Damn, it's nice to finally be able to watch more LOST.

Picked up mine today. Decided to skip on the bonus disc. I got the first bonus disc that came with Season 1 if you bought it at Best Buy. I haven't watched it more than once.

I didn't watch any of the episodes of Season 2 on TV, so I'm excited to finally see what happens next

I missed out on Season 2, when it aired, as well. I was working switch shift and my hours were screwed up, so I missed the first couple of episodes. Since I need to see things from the beginning (movies, series, seasons, etc.) I decided that I'd just wait for DVD.

Don't you get a $10 itunes card with purchase at CC? I was looking forward to that - wanted to buy a few series of the Ricky Gervais show off of itunes.

Desperately holding off on buying this because it's my birthday next month and basically all I asked for is Best Buy GC.

I didn't catch the first season on TV and Netflix'd the season and by the time I finished watching it Season 2 had just started so figured I'd wait until it got released too.

BB Canada was totally clueless when I was there last night. At least they PM'd HMV (C$49.79). Looks like I need to take it back to BB and try FS.

BB Canada doesn't have a bonus disc, just Future Shop...yes, I know they're owned by the same company, but they do have different exclusives. So the reason they were totally clueless is because they were never going to have a bonus disc there! In Ontario, HMV had it for $54.99, same as Future Shop, but my local grocery store had it for $50 so I didn't feel the need to get the bonus disc for an extra $4...I'm never going to watch "Reckoning" anyhow.

Love the set though...the bonus features are well done (even if not anamorphic), the disc art is awesome...just hate that lame "Extended experience" tag... between AD season 3 and this, has been a great few weeks of TVD (not to mention the truckloads of other series as well).

Yeah, I think so. The one I remember seeing on YouTube a while back used the song "Numb" by Portishead. The one on the DVD has some music from the Lost score playing over it, I think. Probably a music rights issue.

cheers,

Superbowl Promo ("Addicted to Lost") on here anywhere? Bonus discs, extra materials, easter eggs? It wasn't mentioned in the review, so I was just curious (still).
