I got Season 1, saw the whole show in a few days, then jumped into Season 2 on HD. I don't think I will be getting this set until a BR (or HD-DVD) release comes out. That may not be for another year or so, but hopefully Season 3 will keep me entertained enough.

I'm not sure he'd want me to plug it , but das Monkey should have one up on this site in the next day or two.

I was hoping he'd be the one doing it. Go Das!

Bext Buy Exclusive Bonus DVD, featuring The Reckoning season 2 recap epsiode and Lost : On Location featurette with behind the scenes footage and cast & crew interviews
Nice! Any other bonus discs out there, as was the case with Season One? I hope not, as that was a nightmare tracking them all down...

When I asked you not to read it, I figured it was implied not to promote it.

I agree.

I also completely agree with this paragraph:

For my money, though, the best characters on Lost are Jin and Sun (Yunjin Kim). Their growing love story is, without a doubt, the most emotionally resonant part of the show, and no matter how many times they are featured in an episode, it never gets stale. There is so much story to tell between the two of them, both on the island and in their past, and it all comes through beautifully, with incredible performances from both actors. It is easy to get caught up in the mythology of this series, the jaw-dropping revelations, the action and adventure of it all, but at its core, Lost works best when it hits those tender moments between great characters. Jin and Sun continue to bring that heart and emotional depth to the series, and the two episodes that focus heavily on them are two of the best and most powerful in the show's run.
Jin & Sun are where it's at, with Sayid coming in a close second and Eko third. All the other characters seem to have gotten stale with their boring flashbacks.

Does the bonus "Lost: On Location" have different episodes from the main DVD? Otherwise, I can't really see much point. Rah, a recap episode ... the only thing worse than a recap ep (besides two recap eps) is a recap ep on DVD.

Thanks for the feedback, Jeff.

Thanks. I love Jin and Sun. I have a lot of negative things to say about this season, but it's the moments between those two that justify the "Highly" part of my Recommendation. Sayid is a great character, but he's underutilized for how cool he could be, and I really wish I could have gone off on specifically what they did wrong with him in the review, but it would be way too spoilerific. I hope Season 3 offers him more opportunity to shine.

How else would you complete your season two Lost experience? Repeats and recaps are essential parts of it..

Did season one have an official recap episode, or was it just the Best Buy exclusive disk?

I can't wait to get this. It is by far my favorite show currently on TV.

In my opinion, Season 2 was every bit as good or even better than Season 1. The premiere and finale were especially phenomenal.

There were two recap episodes I think. Best Buy offered the "Journeys" one.

There was only one recap episode that aired during season one.

The next recap episode aired right before the first episode of season 2. Including this one, there were three recap episodes that aired during season 2.

The "Extended Experience" tag is so pointless.

I'd rather have spine continuity than some stupid tag.

Is the Super Bowl "Addicted to Lost" promo on the DVD set, or on any bonus disc, for that matter? Seems a shame if they left that off.

Future Shop has their own exclusive bonus disk. It includes: Unaired Flashbacks, Conspiracy Theories with Creators, and Secrets of the Hatch.

I'll most-likely buy my set there.

I had Season 2 in my hand yesterday, and it could have been mine for only $56.99.
