I kinda doubt they will.

When I went to Best Buy to get the 2-disc of War, it was ALL OVER the place. I think it outnumbered the single version 2 to 1.

Either one of the covers with Bana and the gun shot would be perfect in my book.

Really enjoyed this movie and will definitely be picking it up.

I think (and hope) they will choose the original cover art for the 2-disc and have another shot for the 1, kinda like what was done for Walk the Line and War of the Worlds.

Wow, out on DVD so soon? I'll have to at least snag the 1-disc, seems a lot of people liked it.

Will probably pick up the 2-disc. Speilberg's supplementals are usually pretty entertaining. But, as stated above, let's not charge an extra arm and a leg for it, mmkay?

I thought this movie was excellent, but it's not the sort of thing that plays well on my pathetic excuse for a "home theater."

From thedigitalbits.com Rumor Mill:

First up, look for DreamWorks' Munich to be announced soon by Universal for release on 5/9. Separate single-disc widescreen and full frame editions will be available (SRP $29.98 each) along with a 2-disc Limited Edition (SRP $36.98). The single-disc editions will have a video introduction by director Steven Spielberg. The 2-disc edition will add a 7-part behind-the-scenes documentary (including The Mission, The Team, Memories of the Event, Portrait of an Era, The On-Set Experience, The International Cast and Editing, Sound and Music).

Did anything get decided over that "cover" option poll mentioned at the start of this thread (i.e. anyone seen the cover art yet)?

Did not see this one, but very interested...The supplements on the 2-disc sound pretty good as well, but its alot to spend for a blind buy, that is potentially very hit or miss for me.

thedigitalbits reported that the WOTW 2-disc set will be for SRP $36.98 but then it turned out that the price is $39.00.i wonder if things will be the same in this case.

and oh yeah, the 2-disc set will be so limited, just like the 2-disc WOTW and the 3-disc The Terminal.

On DavisDVD, they have some coverart available, probably for the one-disc edition. It's just as a thumbnail that doesn't make a larger version available.

According to The Digital Bits, this is the final art for the one disc:

:vomit:

Hopefully, as with War of the Worlds, the theatrical art will be retained for the two-disc.

Hmm ... maybe the artwork at Davis is the two-disc. That would be sweet.

Wow, out of the five posted on the first page, this is easily the worst. I'm sure the 2-disc won't be nearly as appalling, which is the version I'll get anyway. Who actually took this survey?

That wasn't at all nice, relevant, or called for.

The brain-dead simpleton parts was, as that art is atrocious and makes Munich look like some cheap DTV movie.

Republican part, yeah, that was kinda rude.

Is that, dare I say, the original poster art? Terrific. And no Academy Awards nomination or reviewer quotes to be seen.

Sharp.

Niiiiice. The limited set looks very classy. I must own that version. No doubt this was one of the best of '05.
